A heard a knock on my door. I went to open it just to catch a look at Selene's bored face.

“What brings you here?” That was the first thing that came into my mind seeing her in front of my apartment.

What brings me here?” She imitated my tone. “Ikaw, malamang!” My ears almost explode when she shouted right in front of my face. She's overreacting it.

“How did you know I live here? As far as I remember, I didn't tell you that,” I said.

She rolled her eyes. Dang. She sounds like my mother scolding me after she visited my place. I widely opened the door for her. She sat on the sofa as I closed the door.

I looked at her.

“Hinatid ako rito no'ng Ryan,” she answered.

“He came here?” I checked to see if she was confessing the truth or just joking around.

I turned my gaze to her. She sounded sarcastic.

“I was busy,” I explained.

“Busy saan, exactly? Sa school ba talaga, o sa love life?” Her tone was provoking.

“School, obviously! Why would I be busy in that stupid thing?” I sounded defensive.

“Sus, ako pa niloko mo. Kilala na kita,” she told. Hahaha.” She chuckled.

“Nonsense.” I rolled my eyes. “You also never told me anything since we last met,” I continued.

She raised her voice.

“You can tell me anything regarding your life. Even the most stupid thing you did in class. You know I'm always up for listening to your kwentos,” I asserted.

That piqued my attention.

“You knew?” I asked.

“Malamang! Kalat kaya sa halos lahat ng department, 'no.” Her facial expressions were priceless. I can't help but laugh inside my mind. My lips formed a half smile, almost a smirk.

“Well, it's not my fault a curse was let out of my mouth.” Nagkibit-balikat pa ako.

“Pero teh, may film viewing tayo. Kaya mo na ba?” She looks concerned.

“I have no choice. It's graded,” I replied.

But then, her face brightened.
