I was in a daze the next day. I barely noticed Hermione's tear streaked face pass me in the hall. I don't know why she's crying. I raced to Dumbeldore's office before dinner. Snape stood near the entrance. I know where Dumbledore's office is I just don't know the password.

"Professor Snape, I have to see Dumbeldore it's urgent!" I said. Snape looked at me, and frowned concern flickered in his dark eyes. A memory flashed in my mind. A small bony fair haired girl lay sobbing on the grass, scorch marks covering her. A house-elf tried to tend her red bubbly skin.

"Dobby, go away Lucious will be mad at you for helping me." The girl said raising a weak shaky hand to push him. Dobby barely moved. Snape came up to the girl.

"Go." He said, looking at Dobby. He scurried away looking back at the girl.

"What happened?" Snape asked.

"He locked me in with a dragon." The girl whispered. Snape came closer and touched the tip of his wand to her body. The girl sighed in relief as he healed her. Snape smiled and helped her up. I blinked away the memory. Snape led me into the office. While I was thinking he had opened the passage. Dumbeldore looked up in surprise from his desk.

"I'm surprised you're here, it's almost dinner time." Dumbeldore said.

"Professor, I had a nightmare. Well, I guess it was more like a vision." I said.

"About what?" He asked.

"About Voldemort killing Harry's mum." I said, sinking into the cushy chair in front of his desk.

"I was in a field at first. A girl's voice spoke to me. She said Voldemort wanted my power. I watched Voldemort kill Lily. Then- then Voldemort spoke to me." I said.

"He looked at you directly?" Dumbeldore asked. I nodded mutely. This bothered me a lot, nothing scared me. But him being able to speak to me is a bit scary. Professor Quirrel rushed in.

"Troll." He panted. I stood up.

"Harry." I whispered. I took off running. I heard a high pitched scream come from the girl's bathroom. I ran in. Harry clung on the troll, his wand was stuck in it's nose. Ron was beating the troll with his own club.

"STOP!" I screamed. Harry fell on Ron as the troll turned to me.

" Avery !" Harry cried out in horror.

"You want to play, you big oaf?" I taunted, pulling my wand out. With a roar the beast charged, the troll knocked Harry back when he tried to help me.

"NO ONE TOUCHES HARRY!" I screamed. I said the spell that had been in my dreams.

"AVADA KEDRAVA!" I yelled. I gasped at the pain that burst in my core then spread. I fell to the floor.

I woke up to white fur tickling my nose. I gently pushed the white feline. It slid down to my stomach. I looked into Shadow's glowing amber eyes. Madam Pomfrey came over, carrying a pitcher of water.

"What happened?" I asked, my voice came out hoarse and weak.

"Drink," she said handing me the cup of water she poured.

"What did I do? Where's the troll?" I asked after sipping the cool water.

"You cast the killing curse. There was nothing left of the troll after you." Madam Pomfrey explained taking my empty cup.

"Are they going to punish me?" I asked.

"Lucious isn't letting them." Madam Pomfrey said.

"Do you think it was wrong of me?" I asked hesitantly. Madam Pomfrey stopped, considering the question.

"It was wrong of you to be so reckless, but brave of you to fight for your friends." Madam Pomfrey said tuning away to fetch something else for me.

Harry rushed in, he stopped next to me. I looked at him in surprise.

"When did you get here?" I asked. I'm not blind, I did see him come in but I didn't know what else to say. Harry's face was flushed and was panting hard.

"Are you ok?" He asked ignoring me stupid question. I rolled my eyes, laughing softly at Harry's concern for me.

"You were the one attacked by a troll. You tell me." I said. Harry pushed his glasses up on his nose, frowning me.

"Stop dodging my questions." Harry said. Madam Pomfrey shooed Harry out and handed me a elixir. I chugged the vile tasting potion. I grimaced looking at the now empty bottle.

"That was bloody awful." I grumbled setting the vial in the bed side table. I pulled out nearly finished potions homework and set to work. The door opened, I looked up seeing Draco coming toward me.

"Are you okay?" He said. I groaned in frustration pinching the bridge of my nose.

"Why does everyone keep asking me that?" I growled, staring at the ceiling questionably. Madam Pomfrey glared at Draco.

"Visiting hours are over get out." She said. I fell asleep. Madam Pomfrey soon let me out around breakfast time. I walked to the dining hall. I scowled when I saw Hermione sitting in my seat. I grumbled mean names as I plopped down in the seat next to Harry's other side, filling my plate. The downside to the troll was now the three of them were buddies. Leaving me with more Hermione time. It was Sunday so we decided we would spend our free time visiting with Hagrid. I accidentally bumped into Hermione when we were about to pass the lake. She turned to me glaring. Harry and Ron exchanged glances.

"What?" I asked annoyed. I was eager to get down to Hagrid's. The man was growing on me.

"Stop it!" She said.

"What are you talking about-?" I asked. Hermione raised her hand and JACK-slapped me. I grabbed my wand and pressed it to her jugular.

"I'm sick of you getting everything and treating people like trash." She said. Brave thing to say when I have a wand pressed against your throat.

"I'm sick of you thinking I get everything I want!" I said.

"YOU GET EVERYTHING!" She growled.

"Are you saying that for my third birthday I wanted to get locked in the room with a Dementor. I wasn't allowed out until I beat it. The only reason I survived is because my family has old and powerful magic." I said. Hermione's eyes widened when she realized I was telling the truth. I stepped back, tucking my wand back into my pocket.

"I don't get everything I want. I haven't gotten the guy. And in the end I doubt I'll get my happily ever after. Do not delude yourself into thinking I have more than you." I said. I stormed off heading heading to the common room too angry to speak.
