After Haeun's heartfelt conversation with Felix, she couldn't help but still worry a bit about the whole situation. Of course she was over the moon that Felix has potentially found someone for him but out of everyone, why did it have to be Hyunjin?

Haeun groaned, placing her head on the handle of the broomstick she was using to sweep the empty hallway, okay maybe she was overthinking everything. After all, it's not like Felix couldn't handle himself regardless if Haeun was his best friend or not.

Sweeping the dust and grime into the dustpan, she swayed to the rhythm of the music blasting in her eardrums in order to wash away her thoughts. Subconsciously, she hummed the melody and closed her eyes in bliss, not really paying much attention to her surroundings.

To her surprise, a shoulder slammed into hers with such force she nearly fell over. She took a step back to regain her balance which resulted in the dustpan knocking over and everything inside scattered across the hallway. Haeun whipped around and glared at the culprit while rubbing her shoulder soothingly in pain.

"Hey! Watch it!" She spat, her eyes narrowing even more as she glared directly at the guy.

His top button was undone and his tie hung loosely around his neck. The guy had the hood of his grey jacket up but from what Haeun could see, his lips were swollen and stained with gloss. He also seemed out of breath and kept on glancing every few seconds down the hallway. This made Haeun even more unimpressed.

"I'm so sorry uh-" The guy muttered, rushing down the stairs without another glance to Haeun.

Haeun scoffed, she couldn't believe how rude he was, it made her question if people even had manners. Her hand on her shoulder went limp to her side.  She glared at the mess now back on the floor , gritting her teeth in annoyance.

"For fucks sake."

Cleaning up the mess that guy had made had caused the teacher to believe that Haeun had not been doing her job at all. So, she was punished with detention next week.

To add to her disaster at the end of the day, Felix had to rush home after school due to him forgetting about tomorrows assignment which meant no cafe date. Haeun had to reassure him it was completely fine about a thousand times even though he was the one who offered. Normally she'd be quite annoyed but seeing how apologetic Felix was, she tried not to let it get to her.

Walking into her families small apartment, she took off her shoes at the door and removed her scarf and coat. Knowing no one would be home, Haeun didn't bother shouting out to show she was home.

With a small sigh, she sluggishly dragged herself to the couch and collapsed onto it, ignoring the slight ache in her shoulder. Lazily, Haeun reached for the remote and turned the tv on to some random drama channel before mindlessly watching the screen.

Her plan was to wait until Minho arrived home so she could try and find out more about Hyunjin, she figured it would give her a little piece of rest.

Around an hour of TV surfing, the door finally clicked and heavy footsteps entered the house. Haeun sat up, a little surprised Minho was home this early.

Soon enough, Minho entered the living room and stood in the door frame a bit shocked Haeun was on the couch.

"You're actually in the living room?" Minho questioned, walking to the kitchen linked into the living room.

"You're actually home?" She fired back.

"I'm always here, you just don't notice me since you're always in your room with that Felix boy. Anyway, do you want something? Money?" Minho grabbed a glass cup and started to fill it up with water.

"Not money per say but I do want to know something." Minho hummed in acknowledgement so she continued, "You're friends with Hwang Hyunjin, correct?"

"Yeah? Does this have to do with Felix?"

Haeun frowned in confusion, her head tilting a little, " How did you..."

"Hyunjin won't stop talking about him," Minho cut her off and turned off the tap, " He's been crazy over the kid for ages now."

"Oh? So Hyunjin's..." she hesitated, thinking of the right word to use. "alright? Like he's decent?"

"Well by my standards I guess so?"

"Oh..." Haeun couldn't think of much to say, she didn't really have much to go off on Minho's standards but decided not to further question it. To be honest hearing that Hyunjin constantly speaks of Felix kinda made her feel better.

"Anyway, I'm tired so I'll be in my room." Minho turned and left the living room to which Haeun turned back to the tv, not bothering to respond. Her conversations with Minho are normally short since the two drifted apart.

She hated herself for constantly overthinking everything, but can she blame herself for wanting Felix to be in good hands?
