friday- 2:49pm

It had been 4 days since their first kiss and Haeun and Chan couldn't be any closer. The first day seeing each other after Tuesday was a little awkward, both of them not knowing how to act around each other now it was clear there was something between them. But as the days went by, they gravitated towards one another. It started by sitting next to each other at lunch, playfully teasing the other and turned into a more physical show of affection, holdings hands under the table, a casual hand lingering on the shoulder, e.c.t.

The whole group noticed, even Jisung, Seungmin and Jeongin who hadn't been in their group for long. If there was one person who knew more than everyone else, it was Felix. After Felix had confronted Haeun later on Tuesday via the phone, she couldn't help but detail everything to her best friend, it felt wrong keeping something like this from him. To say the least, Felix was over the moon to this new 'relationship'.

Today was Haeun's second day back at JYP, she was due to be at the building by 8pm tonight so she had time to finish up with school before heading off for the weekend. Since her only class was early in the morning, Haeun decided to spend her free time under a sheltered area on the roof with a book in her hand.

It was raining and since she wanted to look somewhat decent for her first weekend stay at JYP, she didn't want to get wet. The sound of the rain tapping against the shelter above her made everything feel so surreal.

Her moment in peace were disrupted as footsteps approached where she sat. Her eyes lingered on her book, not wanting to lose her spot in it.

"We can't keep meeting like this."

She immediately knew who it was. With a voice like that, who didn't?

"You're the one who keeps finding me, Chan." She slipped the bookmark into her page and shut her book, looking up to Chan who was stood in front of her. His brown hair was dripping droplets of water which somehow made him look even more handsome that what he already was, she didn't know that was possible. "How can I help you, Mr Bang?"

" I came here to relax actually," he chuckled, sitting in front of Haeun. "I have you guys to thank for showing me up here, I didn't know it could be so peaceful."

"Romantic isn't it?" Haeun teased, a smug grin on her face as Chan laughed, mirroring her smile.

" I guess it is, hey, you never told me you were starting to train at JYP already."

" I guess I never really got time to tell you." Haeun sighed, twirling a lose strand of her hair. "With everything that has been happening."

"Yeah.." Chan trailed, biting his lip to hold back a smile and looked to the ground, they both knew what Haeun meant. "When do you start?"

"I went for a trial day, I guess you could call it that, on Monday, that's why I wasn't in. It's a really nice place but I have to spend my weekends at the company to make up for not being there all the time."

Chan nodded along, taking in every word she said, a look of thought written across his face.

"What?" She questioned, confused by his look of thought.

"So you're going to leave?" Haeun was even more confused, so Chan continued.  "Like leave the school, that's what I heard some idols have to do."

The two made eye contact as Chan's question still lingered in the air, she really didn't know how to answer it. Haeun smiled reassuringly and placed her hand lightly on top of Chan's, still remaining eye contact.

"I'm not going anywhere, at least not yet. I have until the end of the school year then I'll be staying at JYP full time." She muttered, a little upset. The worst part about training was leaving her life behind, Haeun knew it's what she had to do, but that didn't mean it didn't sting every time she thought about it.

"Then let's make the most of it- of the next couple of months you're still able to come here everyday."

"Chan..."

How could someone be so perfect?

Chan shuffled over to sit directly next to her, his dimples showing through his smile despite the sad glint in his eyes. Still a hold of her hand, he intertwined their fingers, squeezing it gently.

"You don't have to think of that right now. For the moment, we are sat under a shelter on the rooftop of our school, a little cheesy if you ask me, enjoying the moments like these."

She hummed, resting her head on his shoulder as he wrapped his arm around her waist, the euphoric feeling bubbling in her chest. The two fell into a comfortable silence, the rain lightly pattering on the concrete floor just out of the shelter and the sound of Chan's soft breathing is all Haeun could hear. How did she get so lucky?

'How' is all Haeun kept asking herself. In her mind, she didn't know the reason she was so blessed with the new and old friendships she had built over the last couple of months. Not only that, but the opportunities she had became involved in, such as becoming a trainee at JYP. It was almost too perfect.

"Do you think you would ever become an Idol?" Her tone was soft, almost afraid to break the atmosphere around them as if it were a bubble protecting them from reality.

"I've thought about it, but I don't know."

"Your voice is heavenly, Chan. I really think you would make it big." Haeun said, removing her head from his shoulder to look at him. "I mean, you're hardworking, talented, funny, kindhearted- there is nothing you can't do."

"And if I ever did make it big," Chan paused, still flustered by her compliments, "what do you think my stage name would be?"

Haeun hummed, tapping her chin in thought with a pout. Chan couldn't keep his eyes off her.

"BangChan." She concluded, her eyes shining at the idea. "Everyone would be speaking of you on the streets! Talking about your newest comeback, how you stood out in whatever group you were in- or solo if you felt like it. I think it suits you."

" 'Bangchan' " Chan recited the name to himself, nodding in approval. "It's got a ring to it, I love it."

"What about me?"

Now it was Chan's turn to think. The older boy hummed in thought, copying her pout in thought to which she laughed wholeheartedly and shoved him playfully, causing him to follow her in a fit of laughter.

"I can't think of anything more perfect than your name."

Haeun yelped and shoved him again, covering her red cheeks in embarrassment. "Ew! You're too cheesy."

The pair bubbled into laughter again before settling back into silence.

"Remember me when you're famous." Haeun said, resting her head back onto Chan's shoulder as he leaned his head on hers.

"Shouldn't I be asking you that?"

"Maybe."
