The two siblings sat on the floor of their living room, backs against the couch. That walk home had been both awkward and emotional. Haeun felt bad... she didn't want to force a comfession out of Minho but it turned into one.

That happened an hour ago, and now both had not said a word to each other as the tv hummed static.

"Please Haeun, say something." Minho broke the silence, his voice barely above a whisper. He turned his body to face her, tears brimming in his eyes. "I-I'm not a bad guy- I'm so sorry for everything."

"Minho..." Her voice was soft as she also turned to him, grasped his hand into hers. "No matter what I still love you. You're my brother and nothing could take that away. I understand- just please... don't hide stuff like this from me."

"Will Mom think of me differently?" Those words broke Haeun's heart as she embraced her now tear written brother. Jisung was Minho's boyfriend. That's why he closed everyone out. Even his own family. He was terrified. Terrified of people thinking of him differently. Terrified of being abandoned.

"No, no." She didn't know herself but the last thing she wanted to do was upset Minho further. The older boy just sobbed in his younger sisters arms, forgetting the comfort family provided. "But no matter what happens, I will always be here with you, okay?" She muttered into his hair, tracing shapes on his back in a comforting manner.

He hummed in response and pulled back, rubbing the remaining tears from his eyes.

Haeun stood up and left the living room, walking into the kitchen and heating up the stove. She poured water into the pan and placed it on the heated stove, wondering back into the living room. Minho had moved from the floor to the couch, sprawled out and staring at the ceiling.

"You know." She trailed moving to place her hands on the back of the couch, peering down at her puffy eyed brother. "I had to do the same thing with Felix." She chuckled, ruffling his hair, sometimes you'd think she was the older sibling.

In response, Minho let out a breathless laugh and rolled on his side turning back serious. "Haeun, please don't tell anyone. I'm not ready yet."

She smiled softly and responded while walking back to the kitchen, " I won't."

In the boiling water, she opened two ramen packets and placed the noodles in to cook. Once the water had been absorbed and the noodles had cooked, she emptied out the spicy flavoring into the pan and mixed it before placing them into two bowls. Walking back into the living room with two bowls of ramen, she handed one to Minho who beamed up to her.

"Thank you!" The once sad boy had a goofy smile and happily ate the ramen he was given. It was hard to think Minho was intimidating in this state.

She shook her head and laughed before indulging in her own meal, enjoying the comfortable silence that filled the room.

"You know, since we're both letting out secrets, I have something to tell you." She poked at her ramen as Minho raised an eyebrow in curiosity.

"What?" He asked, his mouth full of ramen.

" So I might have auditioned for a company..."

"WHAT!?" Minho cut her off, his eyes widened as he choked on his ramen.

"Yeah..." She chuckled at his reaction, twirling her hair sheepishly. "It's not anything serious, I got through to a second audition but I think I screwed up my singing so..."  Plopping herself on the couch next to Minho, Haeun let out a sigh. Half out of disappointment but also relief to be able to tell someone other than Felix.

"You still got through to the second round!" He placed down the empty ramen bowl onto the coffee table and turned to face Haeun. "Do you know how hard that is regardless. You want to know who can help you with your singing?"

"Who?" She was half expecting Minho to say himself as he was blessed with having a naturally talented voice, well, based on what she heard in the shower.

"Chan."

"Really?" Her eyes widened slightly, the thought dancing in her mind. It was a win-win situation, she would improve her vocals and also have an excuse to find out more about him- that's if he agrees.

"Should ask him." Minho stood from his seat and stretched, grabbing the bowl once he had finished. " Thanks for the ramen, by the way." He smiled softly and exited the room.

This left Haeun to think, would Chan really agree to help her? There was only one way to find out.
