You went back into the house away  from the rain. Your phone buzzed a text:

"Do you have any coffee? I ran out :/"- Ally

You sad smiled at your phone with a light chuckle. What would you do without her?

                   "Come on over. :)"

It was minutes later the brunette was running across the street and knocking on your door. "Well hello" you opened up allowing her inside. You helped her with her coat, it was wet from the rain. Tossing it on the coat hanger, Ally made her way to the kitchen.

"So what kind do you have? Ally walked over looking at the flavors that were stocked in your cupboards. "Ally, we have a problem." You sat at the table with your hands folded in front of you. "I sure don't see one, did you buy the whole damn store?" Your neighbor rummages through the endless stash of coffee in awe.

"Im pregnant." You blurred out. "I know." She said plainly. Ally's discoveries stopped when she found a flavor she was happy with. "How do you know?"  You say suppressing a yawn.

You cocked an eyebrow. "Billie doesn't even know-" you said struck with confusion. "She came over congratulating me, I figured it was something you made up to cover yourself, so I played along with it."  Ally got up from the seat walking over to you. "And considering you had me go buy you a pregnancy test the other night, I just assumed."

The brunette put her hand on your stomach. "How are you feeling?" She knew you so well. Probably more than Billie did. "Like shit. I kicked Billie out." Ally looks over your face seeing tears at the brink of your eyes. She brought you into hug. "Oh honey." She rubbed your back giving you some sense of comfort. "I'm so sorry. You know you're not the bad guy here, right?" You nod you head tucking it in her neck. Tears stained the fabric on her shoulder, but Ally couldn't care less.

"With who?" Ally pulled you out in front her with her hands resting on your arms. "Her fucking assistant."  Ally brought you into her arms once more. "You're too young to be this hurt."

In the light of you home she saw the state of exhaustion you were in. Bags under your eyes which were still read and puffy from crying all night and morning. "Come on." Ally took you under her arm leading you upstairs helping you into the bed. "You don't have to stay." You let out a yawn sinking into the bed. "I know, but just in case you need anything I'll be here." The brunette smiles as she turns off the lights closing the door behind her.

You couldn't sleep. With a mind going the speed of light, it was nearly impossible. You couldn't sleep peacefully in the same bed where another woman's scent did. You walked around the room instead. Staring at pictures of the two of you smiling. Pictures where you were happy. Photos from your wedding day haunted the walls in their frames.

Your finger brushed against the gold plated picture frame on the vanity where Billie would do her makeup every morning. You remember how she would look at you through the mirror while you read in bed at night, as she took her makeup and jewelry off. It was cleared off. She took it all with her. The only thing on it, was a white piece of paper with a lip print made out in red lipstick. You were hesitant to read it. You had too.

you unfolded it as it read;

Babydoll,
I know you said to never call you that again, but I am making this time count if it's the last. I won't ask for forgiveness for I am still learning to forgive myself.
Although I am sorry. Deeply.
I am sorry for blinding you with luxury and red carpets. I am sorry for making you love the way you did, and wasting it on me. I am sorry for those five years you'll never get back.
There once was a time I loved you with every inch of my body. A time where I would lay down and die for you. I still would.
I can't imagine how you feel right now. I know that sounds insensitive considering I did this to you, but losing my home for a hotel, is my punishment. You are my home Y/N.
I love you.

-Billie 💋

A tear dropped onto the paper running the ink down the side. The doorknob clicks as the bedroom door opens. Arms hold your broken frame. "Let it out." The woman whispers through the darkness of the room. "I don't know what to do." You lean into Ally's arms. She reads the letter holding you tighter. Ally is frustrated herself for how Billie is inflicting this pain and confusion on a soul like yours.

"I know sweetheart." She rests her chin on the top of your head. "I know."
