Song: IFHY (feat. Pharrell Williams) - Tyler, The Creator
"Michelle? Is that you?"
She moaned "Hm". As soon as she lifted her back from the counter, her eyes widened once they caught Sage's body. Between coughs, Michelle asked why she was up.
"I'm going to pee." The girl disappeared into the darkness, leaving time for Michelle to recompose herself properly and hide the alcohol. "And you?" She sat next to the other girl. "Why are you awake?
"Just woke up with a headache." It was silent for a while. "I'm sorry I screamed at you. I'm sorry I broke the promise."
Sage sighed as looking down, searching for Michelle's hand, and knowing pretty much she hated it, she placed her hand on top of it. "I'm sorry I slapped you. I overreacted."
You always do. And, thoroughly, Michelle laced her fingers with the Sage's, squeezed her hand tightly, and declared, "You know I like you... a lot. And this annoys me."
"Why? I like you too."
"But I like you a lot!"
"And you have difficulties showing your emotions. Or you just chose to not... It's ok!"
Sage jumped off of the counter, put herself in front of Michelle, amid her thighs, and wrapped her torso with her soft stick-like arms.
"I love you." Michelle knew damn well the meaning of those words, and while she spooned the girl's head, she thought of how she rather not heard them. "Come on, let's go to my room!" Suddenly her arms were pulled.
What? Your room? Once they got there, Sage turned on red LED lights and lay on the bed.
"What are you doing?" Michelle was still standing next to the white chest of drawers, not understanding the situation. "Come here."
"Oh..."
Clumsily, she got under the sheets next to Sage, who was drawing the most bewitching smile ever, with her eyes glued to Michelle's, translating the indisposition to ever get away from that girl. She moved her fingers to Michelle's cheek and widened them, forcing the girl to draw a smile. Sage was hurt, but she didn't lie when she said she loved Michelle. People fight. Yet Michelle kept a serious face and, like unconsciously, she pressed her forehead against Sage's and kissed her soft lips.
The other girl allowed it. She wasn't nervous, mad, or anything. Sage only enjoyed those two seconds their lips remained together.
"That's not what I meant when I said I loved you."
"I know... But sometimes it seems like you are teasing me and..."
"Let's sleep! Tomorrow we are going to have a lot of fun."
"Good night."
Do I... love her? Like... actually, love her? Sage turned her back to Michelle and remembered her sister's words: "Are you sure you guys are not in a relationship and you are hiding it from me?"
"Yes, Skye! She's my best friend." She replied on the floor of the kitchen the previous night.
"So... Isn't this how people start dating? What I mean is," she continued, "think about it. Maybe you do, but you just don't want to. And that's not something you can avoid."
And Sage ended up falling asleep, trying to convince herself she didn't romantically see Michelle.

Low music and little giggles were coming from the living room. The girl in the room woke up at the end of the bed. It took her some seconds to remember her friends were there and that Michelle had kissed her last night. The blankets were on the floor and her roommate wasn't there, neither was her precious phone. Stretching out and concealing a wide yawn, Sage ensued to slip and fall, hopefully, on top of the blue blanket.
