Barbara was just taking another glass of punch when suddenly someone grabbed her shoulder.
"Jesus Christ, Robin, I almost had a heart attack," said Barbara, dropping the plastic cup on the floor.
"I need your car keys."
"Wait, for what?"
"Nancy is not feeling well; I need to take her home."
"But you don't even have a driver's license."
"Who else is going to drive her when you're both completely drunk?"
"Okay okay"
"Barabara keys now!"
"Oh, I forgot."
"Start the car, and I'll go get Nance, okay?"
"Okay"
"Barabara now!"
"Okay!!! Jesus"
Robin hurried to the bathroom.
Just a little while ago, Steve came to her and asked her to bring her home safely.
Of course, Robin did not hesitate for a minute.Nancy was drunk. A small amount of food and a large amount of alcohol are not a good combination.
Robin carefully picked her up. She wrapped her arm around her neck. She carefully grabbed her by the side and led her out of the bathroom.
"Steve?" Nancy murmured as they stood by the stairs.
"It's me. Robin"
"What's going on?"
"Nance, listen to me now. I need you to jump on my back and try to stay there until we get down the stairs. Can you handle it?"
Nancy nodded, even though she had no idea what was going on.
Robin grabbed her legs a little tighter so she wouldn't fall and carefully walked down the stairs with her.
When she brought her to Barbara's car, she carefully placed her in the back seat.
"Okay, so I should take her to your house?"
"Huh?" Barabara looked confused, still not fully conscious.
"Should she sleep at your house, or will you sleep at hers?"
"Shit," Barbara said.
"That didn't sound good."
"Shit, you can't take us to our house."
"What why? Why not?"
"My mom would probably kill me if she saw me like this."
"Okay, then I'll take you to the Wheelers."
"Nah, dude, I don't think that's a good idea either. Nancy said she's sleeping at my house today."
"Barbara! What the fuck am I supposed to do with you too?"
"Can't we go to your place?"
"Are you kidding?"
"Please, just, just for one night. Look, Nancy will definitely make it up to you somehow."
Robin looked at the sleeping Nancy. She didn't look good. She was weak and dirty. She needed help.
"Okay, fine, you're going to sleep at my house," she finally said.
"But I swear to God, if one of you snores even a little bit, you're going to sleep outside," added Robin, who started the car.
Although she didn't have a driver's license, she knew how to drive.
Her uncle, who used to visit them, taught her to drive at an early age. And her house wasn't even that far from Tina's.
