"Kai, Be good in class" Bright reminded his son in a gentle manner. Kai, being an obedient child, smiled and nodded shortly. He waved his father goodbye before making his way to his classroom.

Kai sat on his seat as he begun organizing his stuff in his desk that he needs for his class. He waited still in his assigned seat not until a loud voice greeted his ears.

"Morning Kai!" A girly voice tingled his senses. He watched his seatmate as she sat next to him clumsily yet he didn't greet back. Kai quickly turned his attention to the door watching his classmates come.

"I said morning Kai!" The same voice reached Kai again but this time he didn't look back as if he didn't heard anything. The girl sighed in defeat whilst calling him some names until they got interrupted but the teacher, finally starting the class.

They were already in their second subject for the today. Students were busy on the given test, some were struggling, some were excelling like Kai and others has different things to do besides studying like Kai's seatmate who was busy making a paper airplane.

"Wow! Look at this Kai! I finally made a paper airplane!" She exclaimed in joy showing off her poorly made paper airplane to her seatmate. Kai took a glance at it but continued to do his work. "Come on! Look at it!" She said hoping to get his attention.

"I already did, Miyara, Focus on your paper" Kai said without looking at her, continuing answering the final questions. By the time he was about to encircle his answer, A strong force pushed his arm, His pencil went to another direction causing the tip of his sharp pencil to break.

Kai looked at the error blankly as his grip on his pencil tighten. He looked at Miyara with frustration. She shook and bowed her head, avoiding his scary gaze. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to" Miyara apologized and sat properly much to Kai's satisfaction.

He quickly erased the line and encircled his answer correctly. He grinned before flipping his test paper for the whole world not to see. Kai rest his head on his palm as he waited for the time to end.

Suddenly, A paper airplane caught his attention. As it landed on his table, His eyebrow rose when he saw the name 'Miyara' on the right wing. Kai turned his head to her. Miyara smiled sheepishly and pointed her finger on the paper figure.

"No" Kai said and turned his attention back to the board. Miyara sighed taking the paper airplane and showed it to Kai again. "I said no" Kai mutter in annoyance flicking her hands away from his face.

"You haven't even looked at it!" Miyara complained before handling the paper to Kai. "Because I don't want to" Kai rejected again before relaxing his back to his seat. "Look at it! Please?" Miyara plead still persistent.

Kai rolled his eyes in annoyance, taking the paper from Miyara's hands. "Fine, Now go back to your seat" Kai demanded. Miyara grinned while hoping her way back. "But I'm already done" She said, now not minding the paper that she gave. Miyara pulled out her coloring book and focused her attention on her work.

"No wonder you got so much time to annoy me" Kai whispered, opening the paper airplane to whole. The words 'Im sory' and 'Plese porgive me' was written in big letters with 'Miyara with a smiley face right next to it.

Kai crunched the between of his eyebrows, cringing at her spelling. He was suddenly desperate correct her wrong spellings yet when she saw her happily chatting with their other classmates, He decided not to.

It was finally their break and Kai decided not to join his classmates in break. He sat still in his seat while busy taking out the snacks provided by his father in his lunchbox.

The rain was getting mild but still not want to get wet, Kai decided to stay inside despite his teacher's reassurance, he was being stubborn in staying and he knows it. Taking a bite in his sandwich, the same loud voice ringed through his ears.

"Kai-ya! Why are you here?" Miyara greeted in a joyous yet loud manner for Kai's preference. He shook his head while continuing to bite off his food. "I haven't even asked anything yet you already said no!" She complained whilst moving the chair from Kai's front to his.

Miyara settled down infront Kai, as she rested her head to her palm watching her classmate eat. Kai suddenly felt awkward by the sudden closeness as he leaned back on his chair and continued eating. She eyed the food presented on his table. They were plenty, She asked herself if Kai can eat all of them.

"Are you done eating?" He asked Miyara making her lift her head up. She was surprised by the question, knowing Kai, he was probably the type to not care about others besides himself yet she was happy thinking she was close in gaining another friend.

"Wow! You finally asked me!" Miyara smiled and giggled standing up from the seat. "You also want to be friends with me? Don't worry! We're friends now!" She exclaimed with pure joy. Kai was beyond shock by her sudden outburst as he awkwardly put the empty container back on his desk.

"You know what, Nevermind. Don't answer the question" Kai exclaimed sipping on his water tumbler. Miyara toned down and looked at Kai in disbelief. "Of course I will. I already ate!" She said in a proud manner. Kai nodded while taking his lunchbox back to his bag.

"That's all you want to ask?" Miyara questioned looking at him in confusion. Kai nodded still fiddling with his bag. She dropped her face in disappointment as she walked back to her seat full of sadness.

Kai looked at Miyara steadily. This was the first time he saw her not being energetic though it was a relief for him it was wierd. He looked at the ignored cookie pack on the side of his desk. "Maybe she wanted these" Kai guessed on his mind.

Kai quietly slipped the cookie pack to Miyara's desk and quickly looked back on the board as some of their classmates started to come back from break.

Miyara looked down on her desk to see a familiar cookie pack that she saw on Kai's desk. She smiled and quickly took it on her arms. Miyara turned to see Kai, only to see him also looking at her but not for long. She felt her heart flutter "Thank you!" She said while opening the pack happily.

Moments passed, The school bell rang signaling the end of today's classes. Kai quickly packed his stuff to his bag when unexpectedly a tap on his shoulder gained his attention. It was Miyara.

"Thank you again for the cookies! I love them a lot! Though Papa's cookies are much delicious" Miyara whispered the last part. She remembered the time where she and her papa baked cookies for Christmas last year. They were delicious, She hoped it will happen again.

"Welcome. If you want more, I'll bring more for you" Kai asked as he strapped his bag to his back. Looking at Miyara waiting for an answer. He saw how his face lights up. "Really? Thank you!" She thanked. "I will be going now. Take care" Kai bid farewell, hearing Miyara's shout of goodbye, He couldn't help but laugh a little.

Kai stayed infront of his school until he saw his father's car. He ran and opened the car door carefully as he hopped on the car, greeting his father with a smile. The car ride home was quiet, Kai knew after this his father has to go back to his work leaving him with his grandma again.

"Kai, I have something to tell you" His father started the conversation. He hummed while looking at the view from the car window. "Since your grandma won't be able to take care of you. I found someone instead" Bright continued peaking Kai's interest.

"Please be kind to him. I trust that you will." Bright smiled before turning his attention on the road. Kai doesn't know what to feel. He was excited yet at the same time nervous for lots of reasons. Kai doesn't want to create troubles that can further make his father stressed out more than he already is.

"I will" Kai answered back making Bright sighed in relief. It wasn't long until they reached their home where Kai's new nanny has been waiting. He turned off the engine and rushed out to guide Kai out of the car. He looked one more time to Kai as if reminding him of the things they agreed on.

The door swinged open revealing a tall but gentle looking man. Kai gazed at him steadily, admiring the smiling person in front of him.

"Hello, You must be Kai. I'm Win"
