If Win has the choice of dying on the spot then he will. His hands were sweating as his eyes shifted from his employer to the children below him, darting back and forth, his words at the tip of his tongue.

Bright continued to stare at the male, his calm and nonchalant manner doesn't reassure Win at all. Instead, It made him even more nervous on whether or not he should be honest about the broken pot or tell a white lie for the children.

"Hey Win" Bright greeted once again still looking down at the plant that Win was holding. "Why are you holding a plant?" He asked again, his calm demeanor remained but the hint of impatience was evident.

Kai glanced up at his father, mirroring the same nervousness that his nanny displayed. The fear coursing through him was palpable, causing the poor boy to tremble slightly. His words emerged as barely audible whispers, betraying the depth of his apprehension. Meanwhile, Miyara remained oblivious to the unfolding situation, yet the weight of her involvement in the problem gnawed at her conscience, casting a shadow over her usual carefree demeanor.

Win looked at the plant for a long time before looking at Bright straight in the eye. Thinking that it's no use in lying about this yet when he stares down at the children trembling in fear, He has a moment of consideration.

"Well?" Bright asked, his impatience was starting to grow in him but still remained his rational self. He doesn't want to assume but he has the slightest idea on what happened.

"The pot fell off the table." Win finally confessed making Bright's eyebrow rise in confusion. "How?" He pushed a question, not quite satisfied by the answer.

"While I was cleaning, I accidentally bumped into the table. I'm sorry about that. I'll take responsibility and cover the damages," Win apologized, his gaze fixed on the floor. Kai looked up, clearly taken aback by the unexpected admission. Concern etched across his face as he pondered the possible consequence of his nanny's lie.

On the other hand, Bright looked at Win in suspicion. He didn't expect that he'll be the one who broke it, Let alone offering to pay for the damages. "Do you know how expensive this is?" Bright asked, walking towards a confused Win. "It's a Monstera plant. Are you willing to pay for it?" He pushed another question.

Win nodded once again but in his mind, He was cursing at himself. How can he possibly for a plant when he already struggles to pay for anything? At this point, He wants to throw himself off a building. "Uhm. If it's alright for you, Can I pay it monthly?" He asked boldly but the hint if nervousness was evident. He seriously doesn't know what to do.

Bright glanced at him for a moment before erupting into laughter. Win looked at him, puzzled. "Did I say something funny?" he inquired, but Bright's laughter only intensified. If he's not Win's employer then he would slapped Bright. "What's so funny? Why are you laughing?" Win inquired again, a hint of irritation lurking beneath the surface, though not quite evident.

The man's laughter would die down, he smiled at Win while shaking his head. "The mere fact that you asked if you could pay monthly is funny." Bright chuckled before continuing. "You're easy to fool, aren't you?" The question made Win raise his eyebrow in irritation, gesturing him to explain.

"You don't have to spend a lot on a plant. The pot may be broken, but the plant is fine," Bright reassured with a smile. "We can simply plant it in the soil. It's not a big deal," he continued before chuckling once again.

Win looked at his employer perplexed "Are you sure?" He asked for reassurance, Bright nodded in confirmation. Win sighed in relief "Thank you."

Bright would nod before looking down at the children, his eyes meeting Kai. "Are you hungry?" He asked his son, who's still hiding behind Win's back. The boy would gesture his head in confirmation while looking at the fried chicken bucket on his father's hand.
