"Will you be my kid's nanny?" A soft and sophisticated voice echoed throughout Win's ears. Bright himself didn't know why he has said that as if his mind as shut off completely just to comply to the other. He wasn't exactly displeased but the expression Win gave him after all this is wierd.

"Are you kidding me?" Win with a scrunched face muttered towards the other. "I'm talking to a mad man." He thought in his head, finally standing up away from Bright. "I don't know what kind of bullshit that hit your head but that's nonsense!" Win defended now looking towards him.

"Why is it? You have problems financially and your work environment is not helping you at all. Why bother refusing." Bright convinced in a straight forward manner still his efforts where thrown to waste when Win rolled his eyes to him.

"Look, You are offering me to be your kid's nanny. How can you trust a random stranger to take care of your kid." Win complained. He was in distraught, his head is in a mess and this person he met made him even worse. Grabbing his bag on the floor, he slid his arms through the straps. Looking at Bright for one time and bowed.

Bright saw how Win moved away causing him to be in a panic frenzy. He quickly moved himself stopping the other to walk away any further. He held his grip on his shoulder. Win stopped while rolling his eyes in secret. "What is it now?" He complained facing him.

Bright stood there frozen as his mind went to panic. He can't comprehend his words clearly, Bright must convince him but he doesn't know how. "Please be my kid's nanny" He pleads. Win sighed in disbelief. "What is it now?"

"I have known you for quite some time. Familiarity isn't a problem here." Bright confessed, letting go of his grip. Win's mouth left gaped as his facial expression fell to a deep wonder. "Since when?" He asked nervously.

It would have been bad if Bright knew him at college or anywhere he has influenced throughout his messy life before. It will pain Win greatly as he completely left that life after knowing he will have his daughter. "Answer me" Win demanded, marching his way near Bright.

This was certainly not what Bright was expecting but it was best to be true in this situation rather than to lie at all yet a part of him denies that. "I saw your job application. You have an excellent resume and You're free for whatever high paying job, Correct?" Bright confirmed, earning a nod and a whispered "Yes" from Win.

Bright was quite relieved to hear his answer yet he was confused to see Win in such a state. Nevertheless, He'll go and find about it later. "So what's your answer, Win" Bright asked once again. The silence between was ear deafening. The loud city and the waters crashing down beneath them was the sole noise maker but not the two people.

"How is it better than my current job? Does it pay more?" Win questioned back, now looking at Bright. Win was still unsure about what he's getting himself into even though it's an innocent job atleast he's not getting himself into something illegal. Win stared hard at Bright who choose not to answer fast than he did earlier.

"Do not worry, I pay greatly to great workers. Fix your price and I'll give it to you." Bright mutter with a smile as he extend his right arm to Win. "Do we make things clear?" He smiled again.

Win gazed at the other's hand. A part of him was still contemplating to accept it but it was useless to the huge part of him that has already submitted itself to accept it. "Sure. I'll do it" Win said, shaking his hand against his. It made Bright sighed in relief, He has thought he made something good in his part.

"Thank you so much. Are you perhaps alright starting tomorrow?" Bright questioned innocently. Win was left flabbergasted but he can't do anything after all the man was his employer. "No problem, I'll come." Win nodded

Bright once again dazzled Win with a smile, He bowed as a thanks. "Thank you. I assure you that the child won't be a handful." Bright claimed his smile not leaving.

Silence occupied between, Bright was waiting for an answer, It was obvious to Win. The constant shifting of his position and the numerous glances he gave. This wasn't the time for Win to be shy especially to his new employer.

"Win, What do you take for a ride home?" Bright asked awkwardly. He couldn't bare the silence, never has he liked it as he always expect an answer when he makes statements. Bright was impatient, He was aware of that yet when it comes to Win, He can be patient even if it's hours at end.

"I take a bus- Oh wait" Win silently panicked. Looking quickly at his wristwatch only to see such a late hour. He sighed in disbelief. "The last bus should have taken off now. I'll probably walk home" Win mutter wearing a small fake smile. Glancing at the amusement written all over Bright's face, He was already expecting that he'll say something extraordinary.

"Do you want a ride home with me? If you like" Bright suggested, He slipped his fingers to his pants' pockets, holding tight to his car keys. Win was puzzled, again with his half and half consciousness. The other has already decided to come as it was a sensible solution yet the other doesn't, fear of being in debt towards Bright because of his kindness.

Win nodded earning a firm nod from Bright. He saw how elegant he walked towards his expensive car and getting in it. A slap towards the opposition side of his that denied Bright's offer. Win walked after him as he got in cautiously.

"Where's your house? I'll take you there" Bright asked as he started the engine of the car. He stared waiting for an answer. Win has stuck himself to a corner as he thinks it's safe distance between him and Bright. "It's just around there. Near that university and left." He said his directions with awkwardness. Bright once again nodded and drove off.

The car ride was silent and it made Win want to skin himself alive. Even if Bright tried to create conversation here and there, It always ended with two or four sentences. Win wanted to puke yet he couldn't.

Win's eyes caught sight of a familiar road, He was already here. "You can stop here" Win said which Bright obeyed. It was a short walking distance from his actual house but he didn't bother leading Bright to his actual house. Win got out of the car and bowed as thanks. "Thank you so much. I will see you tomorrow"

Bright shared his goodbyes as he honked and drove away. When no sight of him was gaze in Win's eyes, He slowly turned around and started to march over to his house.

A couple of things has managed to occupy Win's mind. First of, His daughter, Win wants to embrace his Miyara once he sees her. He wants to apologize and cry hard. Win was ready to let go of his strong demeanor for her. Second, His office and job in general. He was glad he could get away from that place. Atleast he could send some thanks to those that are kind go him and some fuck you's to trashy coworkers.

"Miyara, Dear, Come inside now. It's already night and way past your bed time." An old woman's voice caught Win's interest. His heart sank to his daughter in a crying fit. Win ran towards their house, quickly opening the gates.

"Papa!" Miyara yelled at the sight of his father. She jumped to Win's open embrace, letting herself sink to Win. "Where did you go? Why didn't you come home?" Miyara continues to ask. She was afraid of not seeing her father again yet that didn't matter. "I thought you left me" She said in between her sobs.

"I would never leave you. Never again"  Win mutter, whispering his last words to himself. He regret what he did, Win knew he couldn't leave Miyara behind even if he already prepared everything. It wasn't the same. To him, She was his world.
