"Let's go, Miyara." Win's soft voice interrupted the seemingly energetic children. It was already late for them and they needed to go home. "Come on, you'll get too tired for the bus ride."

Miyara pouted, her grip on one of Kai's block toys tightening. "But I don't want to go!" She protested while Kai was looking back and forth from her to Win.

Win sighed in defeat, expecting this kind of reaction from his daughter. Whenever she gets too attached to something, she'll never let go. He internally calmed himself down before thinking of another approach.

"But Kai is already tired. We can go back here tomorrow." He tried to negotiate gently. His eyes pleading in trying to negotiate with his own daughter, but Miyara wouldn't budge. "But I'm not tired—" Kai got cut off when Win quickly looked at him, a silent warning.

The little girl whined, clearly upset by her father. Her tiny arms forming a cross as she refuses to go. "I want to play!" She continued to protest, not giving in. It made Win sigh once again in frustration. His usual gentle parenting is not working as of the moment.

Win tried to talk to his daughter some more, even offering her to buy dolls but Miyara just couldn't accept it. She wanted to play with Kai. He's her first friend after all. How can she leave him behind?

"What's going on here?" A hoarse voice asked. He turned around to see Bright, now dress in his casual clothes, his demeanor is quite different when he's not in his usual suits. His body slightly pressing against Win's back, with his left arm steadying himself on the doorframe.

Win jolted, his eyes gazed up to his employer. "Nothing. I'm just.... Me and my daughter are going home." He reasoned as his hands quickly grabbing Miyara's small ones. The little girl whined before obliging. "Really? But it's raining outside." Bright countered. The raindrops thumping on the glass windows one by one.

Win could only internally facepalm himself. Great, How can they go home? He questioned. A taxi ride could cause so much but he doesn't want to walk either, his daughter could get sick. "You guys can stay."

He smiled professionally at Bright. "No worries, sir. We'll book a ride home." He insisted, grabbing his daughter's things. Bright noticed his behavior before releasing a hearty chuckle. "No, I insist. It's going to rain more heavy. You don't want to get her sick, don't you?" He teased, eyeing Miyara with a smirk. The girl laughed at the scene.

Before Win could even protest, Bright added more plausible statements. "Come on. Our kids are still playing. This is the first time I've seen Kai this happy." He added— the boy, Kai, however looked at his father confused yet remained his poker face. Happy? That's new.

"I—" Win stuttered, clearly hesitating on what to do. He looked down at his daughter, who unsurprisingly, went back on playing with Kai. He sighed before nodding. "Alright, if you insist." He gave in, which made Bright smile in relief.

"Good. Come on, do you drink?" he asked as he walked out the door. Win followed, closing the bedroom door behind him to let the kids play. "Moderately," Win replied, glancing back at the room where his children were.

"That's fine. We could just grab some beers, or maybe have a longer chat over a glass of wine," Bright said with a casual shrug as they headed downstairs. He glanced over at Win with a grin. "Honestly, I’m up for whatever you’re in the mood for. It’s been a while since I've just kicked back like this."

Win chuckled, something he doesn't expect himself, shaking his head. "Yeah, sure. Let’s start with the beer, keep things simple," he said, smiling back. "Besides, I’m not sure I can handle keeping up with you if we break out the wine too soon."
