To be a Blight (OLD)

Clouds on the Horizon part 1

Skara was anxious. The emperor's coven's attack on Hexside has been thwarted and Caleb...or Hunter was on their side, that was good.

But Odwin was nowhere to be seen.

Even his siblings had told her that he locked himself in his room recently to do...something.

She had asked them them if she could go with them while they convince their parents to stop helping the Emperor, but they sadly couldn't.

So now, all she could do was anxiously play the violin until an answer appears.

"Skara, you need stop." Willow tried to calm her down.

"Playing calms me down, okay?!" Exclaimed Skara angrily as she continued playing with her eyes firmly closed.

"But you're destroying the gym!" Added Gus in a panic.

Skara froze before opening her eyes and seeing the destruction she caused with her...violince. She sighed and sat down on a random chair with a downcast expression.

Willow, Gus and Hunter saw her dejected expression and Hunter stepped up first.

"Skara, I'm sure your boyfriend's fine." He said reassuringly.

"Yeah, he's pretty strong." Added Willow cheerfully.

"Nearly killed me and Willow in his sleep that one time." Added Gus cheerfully.

"I know, i just wish there was a way i could go to Blight manor to check on him." Said Skara fiddling with her violin.

Suddenly, a nearby crystal ball began ringing.

Everyone turned to it as Darius appeared on the screen.

"I need volunteers to escort the human on a mission to Blight Manor." He said calmly.

Skara's ears perked up and she turned to Darius as he continued.

"The human wants to save that hack Alador's daughter and some of us need her safe to stick to the plan. So, need you-" Darius pointed at Hunter. "-to go protect her."

"Uhh...can they come too?" Asked Hunter with a nervous smile as he pointed at Gus, Willow and Skara.

"Titan help me." Said Darius tiredly as he pinched the bridge of his nose. "Do what you want, leave me out of it. Here's where we're dropping her off-"

"I don't need a security escort!" Exclaimed Luz angrily.

"You hear that, Gus?" Asked Willow jokingly

"Yeah, guess we should go home. See you around, Luz the human." Added Gus jokingly.

"Ugh, after we came all the way here." Whined Skara jokingly as a violin hung from her waist.

"Wait, Wait, wait, wait!" Said Luz happily a sshe began tearing up before hugging Gus and Willow. "Of course I want you around! I'm so happy!...and confused? I thought you were all hiding after what happened at Hexside."

"They were." Hunter said as he made a dramatic entrance. "but then they heard Darius ordered me to protect you."

"More like he begged us to come because he's terrified of getting recognized." Added Gus cheerfully causing Hunter to glare at him.

"And I'm here to see Odwin on top of that." Added Skara with a wave of her hand.

Luz stared at Hunter with concern.
