To be a Blight (OLD)

Adventure in the Elements part 2

"Wow, setting up camp is a lot easier when you don't have to do anything" said Edric with a smile as he watched Odwin's oracle spirits and Amity's abominations set up the whole camp

"Why did we even bring you two here?" Asked Amity in disappointment as she commanded her abominations

"Target practice, i guess." Replied Odwin calmly as his spirits worked without him ordering them around. "It's not everyday that you get to practice on a moving target"

Minerva chirped in agreement as she sat on Odwin's shoulder.

"Yup, our illusions are perfect for your training" said Emira cheerfully as she ruffled Amity's hair, surprising her which caused her to mess up a part of the camp "isn't that right, baby sister?"

"Yup, illusions" grumbled Amity passive aggressively as she stared at the partially ruined camp with a deep frown

"I'll fix that" said Edric before using magic to fix the damage and finishing the work on the camp

With the camp finished, the four siblings gathered in a circle

"Okay, with that done, let's begin" said Emira with a mischievous smile as she drew a magic circle, making some wooden dummy illusions appear "me and Ed will have these dummies run around and you can fire at them. Odwin will make sure you don't accidentally set us on fire."

Amity took a deep breath and nodded as she pulled out her training wand. Odwin drew a magic circle, creating a spirit that looked similar to a baseball catcher with the glove and all. With everything ready, the four siblings bega-

Minerva chirped loudly, demanding the four Blights for a role of her own.

"Uhm...you can be...look out?" Said Emira, her voice filled with uncertainty, in hopes that Minerva just accepts it

"Yeah, who knows what kind of beasts may sneak up on us?" Added Edric cheerfully

Minerva, who was still dissatisfied, accepted her role without much fuss.

"Okay, let's start" said Amity in a serious tone as she readied her training wand, prompting Ed and Em to begin moving the dummy illusions and Odwin to have his catcher spirit catch any strat fireballs

And oh it needed to catch some fireballs.

"Sorry, whoever is over there!" Yelled Amity, apologizing for one of her stray fireballs that could've hit someone other than them who was currently behind some ruins.

"Hmm, perhaps we should slow the dummies down a little" said Edric with a hand on his chin

"You think?!" Yelled Amity angrily as she glared at the older twins

Odwin, who wasn't listening to his siblings' conversation and was more focused on the two newcomers, suddenly yelled "she means disappear as in this is an embarrassing situation, owl lady"

"Oh" said Eda, who was hiding behind a rock next to Luz after Amity nearly set them on fire before getting out from behind the rock and facing Odwin "thanks for that, strange kid"

Odwin couldn't help but giggle at Luz's reaction behind the rock; reading minds truly was his favorite magic.

"Wait! It's Luz?" Asked Emira curiously as she leaned towards Od

"She's here?" Added Edric as he mimicked Emira before turning to Luz's location and yelling "hi, Luz!"

"Hey, Luz!" Followed Emira
