It's been raining all day and the storm is only getting worse.
"The storm is getting stronger outside." You said
"Well I guess we will have to go to your parents out another day. We can drive in this weather all the way to Santa Clara." Taylor said.
"I'll text my to tell her we have to reschedule." You said taking out your phone.
"Well what should we do then?" Taylor asked.
"We can play board games." You said.
"Let's play chess." Taylor said.
You and Taylor got out all of your board games and played them all for hours. As you were about to knock Taylor's Queen down in chess suddenly the lights turned off.
"Great the power went out." Taylor said.
"Well at least we can still play in the dark we just need flashlights." You said.
Once you and Taylor were able to find the flashlights in the dark Taylor even lit some candles around the living room. You both continued to play board games for 2 more hours until finally the lights went back on.
"Oh thank god." Taylor said.
