~ My Brothers Best Friend ~

~ Eleanor Hopper ~

Eleanor Hopper (Age 12), Blonde hair, Hazel eyes, Small, but yet spunky. Her mother left before she can remember, her father was Jim Hopper, big guy, scary, but a softie at heart. It was always just Him and Her. That was until one of his employees introduced him to the online dating world. Well, 2 years ago he started seeing Joyce Byers of Hawkins (a few towns over) and well, it was obviously going great because they were packing up their house and moving now after 2 years. She wasn't mad about it, she met Joyce, Will, and Jonathan a hand full of times and she liked them. 

"Your sure your okay with this kid?" Hopper asked for what seemed like the millionth time.

Eleanor laughed "Yes Dad... I really like Joyce, she's good for you"

"I know kid... but what about you. your moving into a new town, new house, brothers, and new school" 

 "Dad... I need a new start.. Here I'm just... a nerd? I wanna start fresh, have new friends, a new... life" Eleanor sighed. 

"Kid.. being a nerd isn't a bad thing.." He rolled his eyes jokingly. 

Eleanor nodded and went back to packing the rest of her room. 

Its not that she didn't have friends. She had 2 or 3. But they weren't super close. She classified as a nerd. As in every subject, never skipped school, was always early, never got in trouble. She didn't want to be a badass, but she wanted a new life, with fun in it. Her current friends idea of fun was studying and quizzing each other on a Friday night. She wanted to go out, do what kids her age did. Go to the park, have crushes, read magazines, order pizza and gush over the newest hottest men on TV. 

She was an only child, excited to actually have brothers. She met Will Byers about a year and a half ago. In her opinion he had the life she wanted. He would always talk about him and his 4 friends hanging out going on adventures. Yes, don't get her wrong, Will Byers was definitely a nerd, but he also had a life. A group he would call 'The Party' when explaining them to her. She didn't want to be involved in the party. Will had explained to her months ago when Max tried joining the party how multiple fights broke out over not wanting any new members mostly girls. Max sounded like her type of person, but she wanted her own friends. He would tell her how Mike, Dustin, Lucas, and himself were all friends since Kindergarten. All nerds, but liked to play D&D, go to the arcade, go to a quarry swimming. She never met his friends, Joyce and Hopper liked to use the time all of them were together as family time. 

"Eleanor, Its time to go are you ready?!" Hopper yelled from outside

Eleanor looked around the empty apartment once more. "Goodbye" She whispered and walked out the door holding her one last box. 

"Ready" She looked up and smiled at Hopper. 

He nodded, and they both climbed into the truck and began the drive to their new home.

Authors Note: I hope you guys enjoyed our introduction to El!! I'm so excited, i haven't wrote fanfics since i was obsessed with Captain swan from Once upon a time lol. Please leave any comments on what you want or think, I'm just winging it as i go but am happy.
