El woke up the next day, Saturday morning. She sighed getting up and checking her face. It was clean noarks left behind and she smiled. She heard Joyce downstairs making breakfast. El got changed and headed downstairs and froze when she heard laughter.

"I say we so movie night here tonight!" She could hear Max yell.

As she focused she could tell the whole party was there. She even heard Mike mumble a couple things. She smiled and skipped her.way into the kitchen pretending she didn't even know anyone was there.

"Hey El! How was your date last night?" Joyce smiled asking.

El quickly looked over at Will and Mike who shook thier heads indicating they didn't tell anyone anything.

"Good! We just went to a party, danced a bit, called it a night pretty early" She shrugged.

"Are you guys going out tonight?" Joyce asked.

El shook her head. "I don't think so, think I just wanna have a chill night"

"Watch movies with us!!" Max screamed.

El looked up wide eyes from the screaming.

"We're having movie night here, in your house, join us" Max smiled asking calmer.

El shook her head "I don't wanna impose"

"Your not!" Max whined.

"Come on El, Join us, we all want you too" Dustin smiled.

"Right MIKE?! You wouldnt mind would you" Lucas asked.

Mike looked up shaking his head "Sounds cool to me" he said so casually.

El smiled "Okay, well it depends what are we watching?"

"Your favorite! Horror Movies!" Will laughed.

"Oh god, count me out" she laughed

"Nope!! You have no choice I know where you live! Your coming!" Max laughed and el joined in.

"Fiiiiiine" El groaned dramatically.

"Hey El, were going to the mall to hang for the day, do you wanna come?" Will asked.

"Actually that would be great! I need some new headphones" She smiled.

El ran up stairs getting changed into some going out clothes. She changed into a baby pink tank top and blue jean shorts with a high pony tail and her glasses. She ran downstairs bumping into Mike on her way down.

"Sorry!" She smiled looking up and locking eyes with me.

"Back to the glasses? I like it" He smiled

She let out a small giggle running past him.

They all had to get into different cars. Mike, Will, and El took Wills car. And Max, Lucas and Dustin took Lucas's car. El sat in the back letting Will take passenger seat.

"So are you breaking it off with Troy?" Will asked out of the blue.

"What?" El asked looking up from her daze.

"Something obviously happened. I don't know why you won't tell me what. But your make up was a mess and you ended up at Mike's."

"I--- It was nothing Will.. just drop it please..."she whispered looking away.

He rolled his eyes but obeyed. Mike looked on his rear view mirror making eye contact with El and gave her a little smile which she returned back.

They all hung out at the mall. Sometimes all going into stores together. Sometimes going seperate. El needed new headphones and Mike needed a new.phone charger so it ended up being just the two of them in the electronic store.

"You didn't tell him?" El whispered walking next toile once outta view from the party.

"Not my place" He shurgged

"Thank you..." She whispered.

They walked in different directions, mile grabbed the cable he needed and El starting at all her different options.

"I say Yellow" Mike smiled as he walked up next to her.

"Huh??" El hummed.

"Yellow head phones. Yellow reminds me of you" He smirked nudging her.

"Why?" She smiled.

"Cause I call you sunshine. I might act as if I hate you, but you've always been bright and full of life" he laughed.

She iled and grabbed the yellow ones.

The whole way back to the group to meet for lunch, was the two of them joking about a lot of things. From school, to the popular girls, to stuff Will does.

"I can't believe you chose Jennifer over us" Mike laughed walking next to her.

"You hated me anyways!! No way you wouldve let me join the party!" She yelled smacking his arm.

"Maybe if you gave me time I could've accepted you"

"And what about now Wheeler? Do you accept me now?" She looked at him pouting holding on a laugh.

He smiled wrapping an arm around her "Yes Sunshine your one of us now" He laughed then took his a off her as they both laughed and reached the booth with thier friends.

"What's so funny?" Dustin asked giving them a look.

"Nothing!" Both Mike and El yelled and sat down.

The day flew by at the mall and they arrived home late afternoon. The boys stayed downstairs playing video games and the girls went upstairs going through all the clothes they bought.

Will came up knocking at Els door a few hours later.

"We're gonna start the movie in twenty minutes!" Will yelled.

"Okay!" Both the girls yelled.

El changed into some comfort clothes, took off her make up, and pushed her glasses on before going downstairs.

El took a place in the middle of the couch. Will on one side of her, Mike on the other, Lucas and Max took a couch to themselves and Dustin on a chair by himself.

They started the movie. El wasn't a fan of horror movies. She hated them. But she enjoyed spending time with the party.

Suddenly there was a jump scare. El yelped jumping and grabbing onto Mike's arm tightly. He laughed a bit but didn't force her off. After a few minutes she realized and released her grip.

"Sorry" she whisped looking up.

"I wasn't complaint Sunshine" he smiled down at her.

El smiled nodding and focused back to the tv.

Another jump scare happened and suddenly her hands clutched onto Mike's arm again and he smiled.

El released the pressure on his arm but kept her hands wrapped around his arm.

He slowly got his arm free and she pouted until she felt it wrap around her. She looked up at him in question.

"They're all asleep don't worry" he whispered looking down at her.

She looked around seeing everyone passed out. She nodded and looked back at the tv. Within minutes she was fast asleep against Mike's chest. He smiled taking her glasses off her face and placing them on the table next to him. And ran his fingers through her hair a bit.

Eleanor Hopper in his arms sleeping. Not something he would ever imagine. But he didn't hate it. She was beautiful. Funny. Smart. Amazing. All things he leaned within that past few months.

He hummed slowly falling asleep with his arms wrapped around her.
