The rest of the weekend went by slowly. El basically kept herself locked up. Will and the party hung out at the Wheelers house on Sunday.

"Did El and Troy break up?" Max asked out of the blue.

"I don't know... Shes been acting werid since I saw her yesterday morning. She's locked up in her room and won't come out. So it's possible. Why?" Will asked.

"I just--- I saw him Friday night when me and Lucas were out and he was making out with Jennifer" She replied.

Mike then bursted out laughing and everyone starred at him.

"Dude!! Are you laughing at my sister's misery?! I know you guys aren't getting along for whatever reason, but that's not cool" Will said with an obvious tone that he was mad.

"What? No! I just can't believe her go from El to Jennifer. That's quite a step down"

"Are you saying you think Els hotter then Jennifer?!" Max asked, her eyebrows flying up.

"What?! Why do you gotta turn it into that!! I just mean Jennifer doesn't have much of a personality. At least El did when I hung out with her before shit went down"

"What even happened between you guys?" Will asked.

Mike just shook his head avoiding his questions.

El woke up Monday morning with a smile on her face. She had the weekend to calm down from the Troy situation. She was happy, she didn't want to be with Troy so she could finally be herself now.

She jumped up grabbing a flowey pink Crop top, and back shorts. She put on some natural make up, put her wavy blonde hair in a high pony tail, and grabbed her new bright yellow framed glasses putting them on with a smile on her face. She ran downstairs in a hurry.

"Well someone's happy today" Hop looked up from his coffee smiling.

"I just think this is gonna be for the best" She smiled.

Hop nodded. He never liked Troy and he was happy he was finally out of Els life.

"Love you dad! Be safe at work!" She yelled running out the door and into Wills car.

Will smiled at her starting the car.

"So I know you and Mike still aren't talking, but you should hang with us for the day"

She smiled her herself. She liked keeping what happened between her and Mike a secret.

"Yeah, I'll stick with Max, don't worry" She smiled.

El basically skipped her way out of the car all the way toax wrapping her up in a huge hug. Mike looked up smiling at her appearance. She looked happy. Beautiful.

Will walked up to Mike with a stern look on his face. "She's had a tough weekend. Be nice please"

Mike just nodded not saying a thing. El glanced quickly in his direction flashing him a smile before grabbing Max's arm and walking into the school.

Els first few classes went by quickly. She of course heard the whispers. People gossiping. One that Her and Troy broke up, saying he broke up with her cause she wasn't good enough. Whispers of him and Jennifer hooking up which didn't really bother her. And whispers of how she's turning into a real Nerd.

El was putting her books into her locker and jumped when she heard someone knock at her locker door. She moved it out of the way to see who it was. Then she smiled.

"Hey Sunshine!" Mike stood there smiling.

"Hey idiot" she smiled back.

"I'm offended!" He gasped.
