One week later.

El and Mike had snuck out to the A/V room once this week. Troy had started starring at El one day so Mike dragged her for a make out session. They never really talked after the night Max said she would hook her up. So they only got one make out session this week and it was very quiet.

Saturday night was here. El was in her room withax getting ready. Mike and Will had planned on hanging out and were eating in the kitchen.

El was dressed in a sparkly short red dress, bright red lip stick on, beautiful pink make up on, her blonde hair extra curled, and she decided to stick with her bright yellow glasses on.

"You look hot!!" Max screamed.

El laughed putting on her black healed boots.

Max pulled her downstairs to the boys.

"So!!! How does she look?!" Max screamed making the boys jump up and turn around.

Will smiled "Beautiful El. He's a lucky guy"

Mike was speechless the second he laid eyes on her. Beautiful. He couldn't even think straight. He wanted her to be dressed up for him. Not for some other man.

"Mike?" Will nudged him.

"Y--Yeah... You look beautiful..." He whispered.

El looked up at him smiling shyly.

"Okay! I'm gonna take her to meet Dylan and then she'll be back by 11!"

The boys nodded and the girls left.

"You okay?" Will asked.

"Hmmm? Yes? Why?"

"You've been acting werid since El left"

"Nope. I'm good"

"Do you like her?" Will asked in a serious tone.

"Excuse me?"

"My sister.. El... You know... The girl you use to hate and the past few weeks you guys dissapear at the exact same time"

Mike's eyes went wide.

"That's what I thought. Don't worry though. Your Secrets safe with me" He smiled and left it alone.

The date with Dylan went by great in Els eyes. He was different but good. Blonde, muscles, blue eyes, tall, and he was easy to talk too.

But there was someone who wouldn't leave her mind. Michael Wheeler. She didn't want to like him. He was Wills best friend. But he made her feel something noone else did.

The night was coming to an end and Dylan was driving her home.

"So, did you enjoy your night?" He asked.

"Yeah I did actually, it was fun!" She smiled.

He smiled and opened the door to her side of the car walking her up to the steps.

Before they could say goodnight the door swung open.

"Hi! I'm will! Els Brother!" He smiled.

El could hear Mike laughing inside with Will trying to be a protective brother.

"Hi. I'm Dylan I was just dropping her off"

Will nodded.

Dylan smiled kissing Els cheek "Goodnight beautiful"

"Night Dylan" She smiled and walked in.

"So tell me EVERYTHING!!" Will yelled.

El laughed rolled her eyes.

"It was good. He was really sweet, nice, funny. You know? He wasn't just a dumb guy with a pretty face"

"Did you kisssssss?"

El smiled and nodded "It wasn't bad"

She couldn't look at Mike. She didn't want to hurt his feelings. But she didn't know if he even felt that way.

Monday at school.

Everyone met up at lunch. El took a seat next to Mike, he looked up and smiled slightly, her returning the same. They hadn't talked since the other night of her date.

All of a sudden he heard a chair being dragged closer to their table.

"Hey beautiful!" Dylan smiled wrapping his arm around her.

Mike rolled his eyes.

"Dylan hi! Everyone this is Dylan"

She introduced everyone.

El and Dylan kept whispering things and laughing acting really close.

El flinched when Mike slammed the table "I gotta go!" He said rushing off.

El gave Will a werid look and he shrugged.

"I'll be right back... Okay?" El whispered to Dylan and he nodded.

El got up heading right to the A/V room to see what was up. She peaked into the A/V room and saw Mike sitting at the table his his head on the desk. She opened the door and closed it behind her.

"Can't you see it's fucking being used in here!" He yelled not looking up.

"M-Mike?" El whispered.

He rose his head looking in her direction.

"What do you want?" He asked Coldly.

"Mike... What's wrong.." she said again is a whisper.

"Nothing. Go back to your boy toy..."

"Mike... Why are you being like this..."

"I'm not being any way! We came out here to make out a few times. It meant nothing! So go!!"

Els heart broke.

"I--it meant nothing?" She whispered tears forming in her eyes."obviously El.. I was just your rebound. I'm your brother's best friend.."

El nodded and ran out the door to the bathroom.

It was right then and there she knew.. she knew she was in love with Michael Wheeler. Then she realized he didn't feel the same.

El showed up to science class late. Obviously had been crying for a while.

"What's wrong?" Max whispered as she sat down.

"N--Nothing... "

"It doesn't seem like nothing..."

El shook her head looking up sighing as she looked at the back of Mike's head.

About 3 weeks passed. And El had never felt more alone. Mike and her didn't speak anymore. They still all hung out in the party but they didn't dare speak a word to each other. Dylan and El hung out a few times a week, but El told him she wasn't ready for a commited relationship.

El showed up to the table sitting down seeing everyone there but Mike, but she decided to keep her mouth shut. She sighed putting her head down on the table exhausted. She couldn't sleep. Couldn't think. Here she was head over heals for a boy that she couldn't keep a steady relationship with. Suddenly she heard his things slam on the table.

"Hey guys, this is Lilly" he said excitly and sat down with her.

"She's new and I told her she could sit with us"

El looked up seeing a really pretty girl with glasses sitting with Mike. What the hell was this. She was the new girl and wasn't allowed near the party. And here he was inviting some other girl.

The rest of the party smiled introducing themselves. Until she reached El.

"Hey I'm Lily"

"Yeah I heard" El snapped back rolling her eyes.

Lilly nodded and sat down with Mike. All lunch her and Mike were playing around laughing, lily occasionally nudging him. El closed her eyes tightly so no tears would escape.
