~ Michael Wheeler ~

Michael Wheeler (Age 12), Taller then the rest of his friends, Black fluffy hair, freckles scattered across his face. Son or Karen and Ted Wheeler, Brother to Holly and Nancy. Will Byers best friend. Basically the founder of 'The Party'. Michael now he was a nerd, big time. As in all his classes, advance classes if it was an option, extra work in science because he REALLY liked science, and president of the A/V club. His home life wasn't the best, Middle child, basically looked over. Nancy was the award winning older sibling, with her great grades just as good as his, Her perfect basketball captain boyfriend Steve Harrington, and on her way to being accepted into an ivy league collage. Holly was only 4 but still the baby so of course she got all the attention, but Michael didn't really mind, being ignored let him fly under the radar.    He went to school, did his work and club during the week. On the weekends he was able to claim the basement for him and The Party to play D&D, or they were out and about swimming or playing at the arcade. 

  "So!! Tonight's the night!" Will exclaimed while setting his lunch down of the cafeteria table.  

"Huh?" Michael hummed glancing up from his sandwich. 

"Hopper and Eleanor are officially moving in tonight." Will sat down unpacking his lunch.

Michael nodded, he heard Will talk about them before. He seemed excited to have a sister though he didn't know why, its not all its cracked up to be. "Oh.. Yeah. That's great. Does that mean your not gonna make it to the arcade tonight?" he asked.

Will shook his head. "Sorry man. I told mom I'd help them unload the truck since Johnathan is out of town for the weekend."

Michael nodded as his other friends sat down.  

"Todays the day isn't it Will?!" Max yelled, leaving a ringing sound in Michaels ears. 

Will Smiled and nodded "It is!"

"Why are you so excited?" Michael rolled his eyes. 

"Cause I'm tired of hanging out with just you nerds! I need a girl!" She yelled again. 

"She's.... She's not joining our party is she?" Michael asked in a breath. He didn't know Eleanor, so he obviously didn't hate her... not yet anyways. But he was the one to put up a fit of Max joining, he still wasn't pleased she won that fight. The party was suppose to be just Him, Will, Dustin, and Lucas. 

"Mike!" Max yelled. "Get over it!! Its not some boy club anymore! Just cause your scared of girls!"

Michael just rolled his eyes. 

"Guys... seriously don't start this up again" Lucas begged. Lucas was basically the reason Max joined their party. It started with a little crush, and now him and Max have been dating on and off for 6 months. You know how middle school relationships go. 

"No Mike. Don't worry. I told her she could sit with us her first day, but she said she wanted to find her own people" Will explained.

Max pouted, while Michael nodded and smirked.

Michael went about his day, going to classes, they had a short A/V club meeting, then him, Lucas, Dustin, and Max went to the arcade while Will went home. 

"Does anyone know what this Eleanor girl looks like?" Dustin randomly asked while they sat down at a table to eat after 2 hours of playing games. 

"Whys it matter?" Michael asked sounding annoyed.

"Well... What if she's hot? Maybe I'll have a chance of a girlfriend this year"

Michael just rolled his eyes. 

"I bet you, she's VERY pretty. She sounds pretty" Max said before Michael could give a sassy remark.

"You don't even know her, you've never seen her" Michael scoffed.

"Well I don't need too! Will says she's very smart! Shy at first but sassy! and is very good at board games" Max smiled.

"Your pathetic, she probably doesn't even want to be your friend" Michael rolled his eyes. 

"Loser. Well she defiantly wont want to be your friend after she sees how you treat people. I think She'll LOVE me!" 

Michael just rolled his eyes. He didn't care what she looked like. He didn't need new friends. He was happy for Will and Joyce, but he liked the group as it.
