Dazai pov
A boy and a girl are standing on the other side of the cavern. They both look roughly our age. The boy has spiky white hair and a leather jacket and is glaring straight at Chuuya. The girl has pink hair cropped in a bob and is also staring at Chuuya, looking nervous. Chuuya looks like he wants to sink into a hole and stay there. There is a minute of glares and awkward looks, and I start to get impatient.
"So, um, who are y'all exactly?" I say. My voice echoes around the cavern. "Cause like we're kinda trying to do something here and if you guys are trying to stop us maybe don't just stand there glaring?"
The boy with white hair snorts. "This is who you left us for, Chuuya?"
"Shirase, I didn't leave you." Chuuya shoots back. His voice is strained. "You stabbed me in the gut. I had no choice but to go with the mafia." The boy's glare intensifies.
"You could've chosen to help us, instead of leaving us there in the dirt! You betrayed us first, when you started working with the mafia. Whatever happened to you swearing that you'd always help and protect us?!"
"I was helping you!" Chuuya says. "I was doing it for the Sheep! And then you stabbed me!" He looks pretty upset so I step in front of him.
"Heyyy, so I know you guys are like really mad and stuff, but this is getting a little harsh, so maybe y'all should like, stop or something?" Two glares turn to me. "Whaaat, I'm just saying." I rub the back of my neck awkwardly.
The pink haired girl, who has been entirely quiet squints at me a little. "Wait." She says. "Are you the same guy from seven years ago?"
"Have I met you?" I ask, racking my brain for any memories of these two people.
"The day we met." Chuuya says quietly. "In the arcade."
"Oooohhh, right." I say. "I remember you two now! No offense, y'all were a little annoying seven years ago, but I'm sure you're just fine now! Loving the haircut, by the way. What's your name?"
"Yuan." The girl replies. She blushes before realizing that she's blushing and then glares at the floor.
The boy who I think is named Shirase continues to glare at Chuuya. "Why are you here?" He asks.
"Isn't it obvious?" Chuuya replies. "You all blackmailed our two organizations and now we're here to make you regret that." He has returned to his normal angry attitude, but his eyes look a little sad.
"You know, after you left us we had almost nothing." Shirase says. "We had to rebuild the entire organization from scratch, and we were really all just a bunch of kids. We didn't know what we were doing. It took us years and a lot of hard work, but finally, thanks to our new boss, we did it. The Sheep are gonna rule over Yokohama someday, and you can't stop us." He smiles.
"Oh really?" Chuuya asks. He activates his ability and Yuan and Shirase both float into the air, a red aura surrounding them both.
"Pfft." Shirase says. "Now would be a good time to come out, Akio." A tall silhouette appears in the doorway and slowly steps out. A man appears there, maybe in his late twenties with dark brown hair, kind of like mine, and bright green eyes. He is wearing a leather jacket similar to Shirase's that has the Sheep's logo on it. He looks at us.
"So you're the infamous Chuuya Nakahara!" He beams. "It's so great to finally meet you!" Shirase snorts.
"Who the hell are you?" Chuuya asks.
"Hey, don't talk to him like that!" Shirase shouts. "If you knew-"
"It's fine, really." The man who I think is named Akio says. "I'm the Sheep's boss, in case you didn't know!" Chuuya looks a little sick to his stomach.
"After you left them, the Sheep were in disarray and were struggling to survive. I found them and helped them, training them and giving them food and a purpose."
"Akio helped us when you didn't!" Shirase shouts. "He's one of the best people I know, and he's not going to just let you ruin his plan like that! He'll defeat you in an instant!" Yuan nods along with him.
"Please, just take care of them or something." Chuuya says to me quietly. I nod, and he draws them closer much to their very verbal discontent. Akio doesn't do anything, just continues to smile at Chuuya. I grab a rope off of the floor and loop it around them once they get close enough, tying it tight. I'm very good at typing ropes. He lets them down with a small thump and starts slowly walking towards Akio.
"Right, well I'm going to tie you up too now." He says slowly. Akio is still smiling.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you." he says. Small sparks of electricity fly from his fingers. Suddenly Chuuya leaps into the air as a whip of electricity comes flying from Akio's hands. He hovers for a moment, before diving, trying to get a good hit in. The electricity crackles and lashes out at him. He dodges in the nick of time and jumps away again. After a moment, the training equipment in the room starts to rise, hovering in midair, glowing red. Weights, staffs, swords, pretty much any weapon you can imagine all hurl themselves towards Akio. A loud crackling noise fills the room, and it grows brighter and brighter. Chuuya notices it and his eyes widen.
"Dazai! Get down!" He yells. I duck for cover behind a training mat and there is a flash of blinding light, and then a dull ringing in my ears. When I peek out from behind the mat, Akio is standing in the middle of the room, electricity still flickering from his hands. Chuuya is knocked against the wall. He stands up slowly, coughing.
"Oh, come on, I'm not so horrible that I fight injured people." Akio teases. "You're clearly too weak. You should just give up. No one has ever beaten me before." I need to use my ability on him. He's too good. I sneak out from behind the mat, weaving in between the pieces of debris that now cover the room and hiding behind the larger ones, getting closer to Akio. When I am about a few feet away, I lunge for him.
"Ah." He says, ducking neatly to the side. I lunge past him and my hands come up empty. I whirl around towards him. "Your ability is too pesky to have around." He says, still smiling. How is this guy so cheerful? "I'll need to get rid of you." He concludes.
His whips of electricity lash out towards me, too quick to dodge. They hit me and wrap around my body. The pain is excruciating, I can feel it all throughout me, burrowing into my skin and making me cry out. It's 100 times worse than anything I've experienced before. I can hear Chuuya calling my name. After a second or two, the electricity drops away, and I fall to the floor, my breath coming in short, heaving gasps. My clothes are sizzling, if that's even possible. I'm too weak to move.
As my vision gets blurry, I see Akio turn back to Chuuya, who is now standing.
"Now," comes Akio's voice, though it sounds distant, as if he's across the cavern again instead of a few feet away from me. "Should we finish this?"
Those words are the last thing I hear before everything fades into darkness.

A/N: Just so y'all know, Akio is an OC, he is not actually from any fandom. I created him because I needed someone for Chuuya to fight lmao
