Kellin bit his lip, as he stood on the edge of a bridge near his home. It was early, around 4am, so no-one was around. He looked back at the bridge behind him, and taped his note to the side.

Suddenly two arms wrapped round his waist, and he was pulled down, his fall softened by another body.
"Wha-" he began to speak, but was cut off as the unknown person clapped a hand over his mouth.

A few hours later, Kellin woke up. He was in a bed, a big, comfortable bed. He looked round and frowned, his head hurt
"Aspirin and water," he heard a voice say. He frowned and looked up
"Am I dead?" The black haired boy asked, a soft chuckle came from the other side of the room,
"Thankfully not," the voice answered. Kellin looked at him with a frown.
"What did you do?" He snapped, he didn't want to be saved he wanted to be dead.
"I saved you," the other boy answered simply
"And if I didn't want to be saved?" Kellin countered somewhat angrily
"Then I'll make you see that there is so much more out here for you," Vic answered. Kellin huffed, and turned away.
"Tell me Snow White, what's your story?" Vic asked, sitting next to Kellin, glancing at him. Kellin frowned
"Snow White?" Kellin questioned, cocking his head to the side
"Pale skin, dark black hair, blue eyes, you could be like trans Snow White," he grinned "anyway, I'm Vic," he introduced "tell me what I want to know," he insisted.
"There isn't much to tell, you'd probably leave," Kellin sighed, taking the aspirin with some water. Vic moved to sit next to him
"Whatever it is, I'm sure I've heard worse," he answered softly, looking over at Kellin. The younger boy sighed and looked down at his hands
"Everyone just leaves, my mom left when I was younger, it was my fault that their relationship failed, they never even wanted me, I'd just be doing my dad a favour," he told Vic "he hates be because I'm gay, I have no friends, and I literally don't see the point anymore," he finished. He rolled his sleeves up to reveal his cuts and scars "look at me, I'm disgusting," he added, starting to cry, surprised when he felt an arm round his shoulders
"You're not disgusting, and I'm not going anywhere," Vic told him softly.

Vic allowed Kellin to cry for hours, until he fell asleep again, he then put him back under the covers, and watched him sleep. He was so calm, innocent looking when he slept, he looked his age, young and full of life. Yet the minute he woke, he appeared to gain years.

Kellin stayed with Vic, the two of them forming a bond that was unbreakable. They were friends, lovers, brothers? Their relationship wasn't clear, they just were. If Kellin was around, Vic wouldn't be too far away. it's just how they worked. No-one questioned their relationship, they just knew that it was better for them being together.

Vic insisted that Kellin seek help, and he did. Vic found immense pleasure as he watched he younger boy get better, it didn't happen quickly, and it was difficult, but true to his word, Vic had shown Kellin why he should carry on living, what the point in his life was.

A couple of years after Kellin had recovered, pulled himself from the dark depression that once consumed every piece of his being, their relationship became clear to Vic's brother. This happened when one night, one quite ordinary night, he was looking through his mail.

Bills, bills, advert, charity. An unfamiliar, fancy looking envelope. He frowned and opened it.
