Meeting him

No there is no way I got Luke. Why Luke out of all people?!? I almost stormed out the door but Clover caught me before I screamed and slammed the door. "How could I get Luke out of all people, why Luke?" I asked while she was trying to calm me down. "Relax he's not that bad I don't think and either way you might like this assignment and who knows maybe you two can become friends." She said as I thought about how disgusting the thought was. He has a really bad reputation and I don't get how I got paired up with Luke?!? I went back to my seat and waited for the bell to ring so I can have 1 out of my 8 periods done so I can get the hell out of here and so I can have Clover and Alex over so we can talk about this assignment.

After the bell rung I bolted for my locker hoping not to tryb and draw any attention to myself. When I got there I grabbed the books I needed for my next two classes and went straight to class. By the beginning of class my math teacher started teaching us about how to determine the square root of a number without using a calculator when someone knocked on the door.

"Alex your late again what's the excuse this time?" -_- . My teacher asked kind of rudely at her. "Oh my locker wouldn't open and I also wanted to skip this class but I kind of can't because I would get another detention from you." She kinda sassed her. "Ok well before I was interrupted we were discussing square roots." She says while turning back facing the board. Alex went to her seat next to me and looked kinda confused. "What is it?" I asked her kind of nervous. "Why didn't you tell me you got Luke for an interview?" She asked a little annoyed. She had a little annoyed yet confused look and a look like she was a little furious and jealous. " I was going to until you brought it up with a little attitude." I snapped at her. After I said that she got up and walked out. Before I knew it my phone went off and I realized she had sent me a message.

Alice why wouldn't you trust me with that kind of information. You know I don't like Luke and with you as his partner means I can't be around you. I can't be around him and I don't want anything to do with him. Please understand......

I can't believe this. She said she was over him and now she pulls this on me. Why!?! It sucks not having her especially in this situation. She went out with him one time and now she leaves me cause he broke her heart. I would help her if it was the other way around but she leaves when she knows I'm not going to fall for him. Ugh this is going to be a long day.

(8th period last 15 minutes)
Finally the last period and only a couple minutes left! Now I can leave and get the hell out of here and not run into anyone on the bus." Uh excuse me but your Alice right?" A red haired guy asked me. I think his name is Michael I kind of recognize him from being on the football team with Luke." Yeah why?" I say a little shy feeling my cheeks heat up. "Oh I'm Michael and I heard you have Luke for that interview thing and I just wanted to ask you if maybe you would want to hang out with him after practice. That's if you want to you don't have to." He said rubbing the back of him neck. "Um sure but I have to take the bus so I don't know?" I told him saying the truth. "Maybe I can give you his number or you can give him your number. You okay with that and talk to him about when you should interview him." He told me and I just nodded. I gave him my number on a piece if paper and then he gave me a smile which I thought I would regret ever giving him the number. MY number! I am going to regret it.

The next thing I knew the bell rung and I ran out hoping not to run into Luke or any of his friends or teammates. I went to my locker put all my books back in and grabbed my phone, charger and headphones. Then I bolted to the bus. When I got on board I got a text from an unknown number.

A: hi?
#: Its Luke
A: oh hi
#: hey so I got you for my football interview
A: oh yeah so when do you want to be interviewed?
#: uh how about after my practice?
A: Ok sure I guess
#: Ok I'll see you later
A: Ok bye

To be totally honest I'm scared to death. I wanted to text Alex but she's bad at me so I guess I'll text Clover.

A: hey
C: hey what's up?
A: uh I need advice....
C: what is it are you ok?
A: yeah its just Alex is mad at me cause I got Luke for the interview thing I don't know what to do
C: don't worry I'll talk to her and as for the Luke thing just don't do anything dumb ok?
A: I won't I know what he is capable of and I know how to say no. No matter what he says I won't do anything.
C: ok well ttyl bye
A: bye and thanks
C: no problem

Now that's taken care of I need to get ready to meet Luke. Then it hit me I am meeting the person has been known for just for playing with girl's hearts like they are toys. Its time for me to be meeting him. After he gets out of practice I will have to talk to him. I will be meeting the real him in a few hours. I will meet and reveal the real Luke Hemmings.
