~Back at the party~ 

I went back inside the party and saw Calum talking to the new girl. He seemed happy but she was looking like she was waiting for something to happen so she can leave the conversation. I saw she was looking at something so I went over and saw that she was staring at Ashton and Clover. They were talking and Ashton was drinking. I knew he was going to and Clover can't she knows that ma and her have to drive everyone back. Also because he is older than us and it's legal in Sydney to drink at eighteen. I look and Michael was over with some girl dancing. I never really thought he would like me or Luke. Speaking of Luke I can't believe he kissed me. It was strange because I have never had my first kiss and because I never thought he would try anything because he has hated me. Well at least he said he did before he said now he has a hate/like thing for me. I looked back at him dancing and I could tell he was totally wasted. But he I saw that he was looking for someone the his stare went to the new girl and she looked back at him.

I saw her smile at him and then he looked at me. I looked away and saw his smile fade and he stopped dancing. I looked at him and his eyes were locked on me I got a little nervous not knowing what to do if all of this goes to hell with both Luke and Michael. I don't like Luke like that and probably never will because he has bullied me ever since he tried making a move on me. But that kiss ugh I don't know but I can't like him. I don't forgive easily or think about giving people second chances because I tried giving my stepdad many chances but he always screws them up somehow.

When I first met him he and I were alright for a while but once Anthony came in he changed for the worst. He used to mistreat us and especially my mom. I hated the way he treated her but she said it was love and then he started beating us all of us but Anthony got the most because he wanted to protect us. Ever since then I have hated him but have gotten closer to Anthony. He is the only one who knows this other than my mom but she can't do anything about it because if she tells him anything his anger will take over and I can't lose her. She may chose him over us but I will always love her she is my mom after all.

I saw Michael stumble over to me and almost fell. "Hey Alice where have you been for the past couple of hours I really wanted to dance with you?" He said as I could smell the alcohol on him. "I was just outside." I say as he fell almost causing me to go down with him. "Michael your drunk here let me take you home." I said as he grabs my hand and helps him up. "No first I want to dance with you." He says and yanks me to the dance floor and put me in front of him. I didn't move a muscle until I felt his nails dig into my arm and I turned around and he looked so mad. " Just one dance baby then we can go home." He said as I shook my head no and tried getting out of his grip. He dug his nails in me again and I screamed but no one cared because they were all drunk or busy making out or getting more drinks. I didn't see Clover or Ashton so I'm screwed because they were my ride home. I went and grabbed my phone and saw 43 missed calls from Clover and Ashton and 54 text messages. I looked and saw Calum sitting on the couch but he had his headphones in and looked like he was asleep. I lost all hope and just gave in. I danced with him but I started crying because blood started coming out from the scratch marks I screamed in pain until I heard a scream coming from the other side of the room. "LET HER GO MICHAEL CAN'T YOU SEE YOUR HURTING HER!" I was grateful to hear that voice as I saw Luke coming in tried getting Michael to let go."

"Hell with you Luke she wants me and not you so back off." He said almost falling over. "She said to let her go so let her go before something happens that you will regret." He said with rage in his eyes. "No she is with me now so back off and get out of here you hate her anyways why are you helping her?" He said then I saw the anger and rage in his eyes and knew something was going to happen. "Let her go." Luke said stern and angry but before I knew it I had my face crashed against Michael's and he started kissing me. I tried pulling away but when he did not even a second later he was on the floor. I looked at Luke he had his fists clenched and had some anger out of him and was replaced with regret. He freaked out and grabbed me and we rushed to his car.

"Where do you want to be dropped off?" He asked then I told him to just go to my house. He drove up to it and parked his car in my driveway. "I'm sorry I did that." He said while rubbing the back of his neck. "Don't worry about it you did what you had to." I said and then invited him inside. I opened the door and saw suitcases and knew that my parents might have come back early or they took Anthony back here. I looked and started bursting into tears seeing all my things ruined and I went straight to Anthony's room while hearing him scream. I told Luke to wait in my room as I went and bolted to my brother's room. "WHERE IS SHE YOU LITTLE RAT!?!?!" I knew it was my stepdad and then I heard a loud thud as I opened his door. " Why don't you look in front of you and leave him alone." I said as he threw my brother on the bed and I saw all the bruises. I started tearing up but loo straight into his eyes and say that he might be drunk or high or maybe both. "Ah glad you can join us now it's your turn." He balled his fists and started beating me. I swing a few times ad got him but he didn't stop. I knew this would have happened anyways because he always takes it out on us.

I think it has been 15 minutes and he takes turns beating me then goes to Anthony I scream to leave him alone then he goes back to me for one last hit. I prepare myself for the big one but then stopped by someone slamming the door open. "LEAVE HER ALONE!" Was the last thing I heard before I blacked out.
