Ryker x 2012 Donnie

Background: Ryker works at Mr. Murakami's and Donnie is a regular that Ryker insist he pays for him. Donnie's Brothers follow and find the two of them flirting. At the lat moment I decided I was going to make this sad.

Donnie has been sneaking out of the lair for a few months. Tonight his brothers thought they'd finally find out where he's going. They saw Donnie sneak out with a satchel as normal, they started following him to Mr. Murakami's.

"Huh? This is where he's been going?" Mikey asked.

"What could the nerd possibly be doing?" Raph rolled his eyes.

"Let's see what he's actually doing." Leo said and jumped down. They sneaked over and looked inside. They were shocked. Donnie was sitting at the counter talking to a tall scary looking man. He wore sunglasses and a purple beanie, a dark red bomber jacket vest with a black long sleeve super it.

•Donnie's pov•

"Coffee?" I smiled at Ryker. I met him a few months ago. He stopped the Purple Dragons from even coming towards the door. We've been dating in secret. His deep voice always made me feel safe.

"I would like that, thank you." He smiled. I stared at the lip piercing he had. The top right and bottom of his lips had circle piercings.

"Anytime liebling." He passed me a freshly poured cup of coffee. I put my satchel on the counter and sighed.

"Are you sure you can't come? My brothers would be fine with you! You're like us so they won't judge you." Ryker leaned his tall frame on the counter and took off his sunglasses.

"I can't. I'm truly sorry. I don't want them to hate you." My eyes widened. "You're dating a demon. A Five Star General of the strongest demon army in hell and the adopted son of Lord Diavolo." He held my face with one hand.

"But you're not a bad guy anymore. You've saved countless of people." He smiled and stood up.

"I will do it on two conditions." I got excited and nodded. He chuckled. "Donatello Hamato, for the first one you must try my new dish." He took off his cropped bomber vest and put on an apron.

"Sure! I'll be upgrading some of my tech as you cook." He smiled and started cooking. He made the pizza gyozas.

"For your family." He crouched down and then got up with a small bag. It was lavender and had the family crest on it. "For you." He was blushing and handed it to me. I opened it to see macaroons, soft sugar cookies, coffee taffies, and chocolate chip cookies.

"Wow. These look amazing!" I took a bite out of the sugar cookie and it was delicious. "Oh wow! It taste amazing!" He looked away from me and rubbed his neck.

"Please don't tell anyone that I like to make sweets." He was extremely nervous.

•Ryker's pov•

I have the ring. The thick gold ring with small diamonds decorating the sides, in the top middle of the ring was a large amethyst shaped as a heart. It's too early! I can't do this! I look at Donnie and he smiled at me.

"I won't. What was the second thing?" I blush and reached for the small black box under the counter but stopped. I placed my arms on the counter. I looked behind him to see three turtles that look like him.

"How about I meet them now?" I walk over to the door and open it. "Come in and have a seat." They walked in and sat by Donnie. I got back behind the counter and rubbed my thumb over the box. "I made the pizza gyozas that Donnie said you liked." The orange one started eating it but the red and blue one glared at me.

"Who are you?" The blue one asked. He had a leader like authority so he must be Leonardo.

"My name is Ryker Ryū. I've been working here for about five months." I gave a small bow and then stood up straight. I really wish Austin was here. He's good with people.

"Wow! These are amazing!" Energetic and child like, he must be Mikey. I nodded in thanks.

"Guys! You're making him nervous." I started to hit my panic button on the side of my pants. I did the code for Austin.

"Maybe he should be!" Angry and violent, he must be Raph. I got to thank Austin after because here he comes. He opens the door and pulls out his guns.

"What in the hell? Ryker, why do you always get the fun?" Austin pulled the hammer back on his guns. "Maybe I should have fun. Can I, boss? Can I!?" He quickly got beside Mikey and help the gun to his head. I saw Donnie looked at me scared.

"Enough!" Austin was shocked. "Put your guns away be for I make you." He put them away and moved away from Mikey. "This is why you will never get anyone." I mumbled. He gasped and walked over to Donnie. He gently grabbed his hands.

"You didn't go through with it." Everyone was confused and I started to lightly sweat.

"Austin not now, please." I begged. He grinned and jumped over the counter. I backed up and he grabbed the box. "AUSTIN!" He jumped over the counter.

"Spill. Tell them everything." I sighed knowing he was going to get worse if I didn't.

"Tell us what?" Donnie stared at me.

"I... Oh brother... I met you a week after I started working here and we have been dating for four months. It was too early so I didn't want to give it to you. I bought you a ring." I looked away. I saw a glimpse of shock on their faces and Austin looked guilty. "I wanted to ask you to be my fiance. I know you'll say no and I promise I will wait for you." Donnie smiled.

"Please wait for me."

I stood at the rubble of where I used to work. It was a few years since I made Donnie coffee and even joked around with his brothers. I looked at the ring in my hand. The same ring I wanted to give to Donnie. The invasion happened and then the other invasion, he's gone with his family. I put the ring in the same black box, it was a bit worn out. I put the ring was was going to wear with him. A silver ring with only a heart shaped amethyst.

I placed my final note in it before using the last of my strength the make a flame portal. I was only big enough for the ring and my panic button. I was getting dizzy and quickly put the items through. I fell to the ground bleeding out. I smiled and this time... I turned into butterflies and disappeared for the final time.

•Donnie's pov•

I was talking to Fugitoid when a flaming portal opened up. I screamed in shock and everyone ran in. A black slightly worn out box hit the floor with... My eyes widened. Ryker's panic button.

"No..." I whispered.

"What is it D?" Casey looked over my shoulder. I gently picked up the items and sat in one of the control areas. I opened the box to see the ring Ryker wanted to give me. His ring as well. A note fell out.

"Can you read it to us?" Leo asked. I shakenly nodded.

"Hello liebling,

If you ever get this note them I'm gone. I will finally stay dead. I wanted to ask you to make my the most special man and marry you. I wanted to show you all the love you deserve. I would be standing at the place I first met you, Mr. Murakami's. I love you. I love you more than anything. I'm fatally wounded and this is my last goodbye. Do not worry, my darling. I'll be waiting for you when it's your time. I will always love you even after death. I gave you my panic button because that's all that is left of my family. I hope you return to Earth safe. You will always be my hero.

I started sobbing at the note. I started screaming for this to be a dream. Screaming for this not to me true. I ran to my room on the ship and cried myself to sleep. I wish he was here with me now.
