Theater Boy

Human highschool AU Austin. Also Austin will have longer hair cuz I redesigned him and he looks hotter with longer hair.

"What am I going to do!? Why do they pick me to be the main character! AND TO SING!" Austin yelled nervously as him and Ryker walked into the lair. He had contacts in and not his glasses.

"You are the one that chose theater. You like to sing and dance, so why is it a problem?" Ryker asked and set him bags down with Austin.

"I like to sing and dance alone in the shower or my room! And plus with a character I have to play, HE'S ON SOMETHING!" Austin sat on the couch with a sigh and Ryker sat too. "I might just not. My anxiety is saying no." Leo sat beside Austin.

"What are you freaking out about?" Austin stared at him and put his hands on his face. Donnie walked out with a clipboard in his hand.

"Hello Austin, can you help me with-" Ryker got up and left quickly. "What's with him?" Austin whipped over with a red face.

"RYKER! NO! I'M NOT EMBARRASSING MYSELF!" Austin yelled and Ryker came back with an electric piano and a smirk. He sat on the floor and started to play.

"What's -?" Leo and Donnie asked. Austin sighed and stood up.

"I'm that first person they talk about in all the books. I'm that perspective you cannot doubt, see how I look." He swayed to the beat. "Control the narrative reliably, baby, it's all about me. And I wrote the book about throwing the book at those who don't do it by it." Austin sang without looking at anyone. Donnie was confused and Leo was too.

"What?" Donnie stared at Austin. This was confusing.

"So now I'm holding myself hostage, Stockholm lust just looks like justice. And enough lefts don't make the right but two wrongs do. Oh man, Sun Tzu would love this." Austin started to smirk. "Beating my dead high horse off the high road to low ground. 'Cause if you shake your fist at snakes in grass, It looks like punching down." Leo laughed but Donnie was nervous with how Austin was acting.

"What are you talking about, Austin?" Donnie asked as Austin was starting to move more. He was getting more animated with his movements and more... How do I put this? Darker? A weird glint in his eyes.

"So God forbid, I'm seen just as an average human being." Austin put a hand on his chest with a smile. "I mean, imagine if protagonists just died in the first scene." He frowned but then smiled. "I'm the gap between a tragedy and comedy." He pointed his hand like a gun at Donnie, but then smiled and did jazz hands. "Don't come at me. I'm the main character and you have to like me."

"Austin?" Donnie was stiff as a board as Austin slid beside him. Austin had a permanent smirk on his face and it was creeping Donnie out. Leo thought this was the funniest thing.

"I loot plot armor from NPC's. Well, they are to me." Austin leaned closer to Donnie, his smirk shone brightly. "Trite, tropes, traits, traumas, trinkets, and treats, it's all XP!" He raised a hand and moved it to show an invisible point in the air. "Look in the sky, it's a bird, it's a plane, no, it's superego! The underdog you cheer for. Villains are everywhere, that's how I know that I'm a hero!" Austin was gripping Donnie's shoulder roughly but let go. He spun around and smiled widely.

"Austin, what is with you?" Donnie begged. "You're not yourself!" Leo looked at him confused.

"So tie me to the train tracks, laugh and snidely twist your mustache." He pretended to have one. "Snidely Whiplash, Boris Badenov, ignoring me's bad enough. Where do you get off? Da, das vedanya, darling. Daleks in high collars monologue and I outsmart them with a ray-gun and a tweet." He danced and posed but the unsettling smile got bigger. His eyes held a dangerous glint as he stared at Donnie.
