2012 Mikey x Austin

This is a less depressing chapter but it kinda is and has a happier ending. I feel like Mikey usually gets the sad stuff so Austin will be the protective older brother he is.

•Mikey's pov•

I tried to mess around with my brothers but they all yelled at me. They never wanted me around and always yells. I just try to lift the tension but it never works. I always manage to screw up every mission so I'm not useful with anything. A loud bang was on my bedroom door. "Mikey get up. It's time for a patrol." I sighed and got up.

"I'm coming." I faked a happy voice. I walked out and kept a fake smile on. We all left and were scanning around for bad guys until there was an explosion. It was the foot clan and they were robbing a lab. We fought them then something caught on fire and soon I got separated from my brothers. I backed away to the wall to get away from the flames.

"Psst!" I looked over to the voice and I saw a green diamond that blinked at me. I held my arms to my chest. "Come with me! Hurry!" I held myself closer. I was terrified so I shook my head. A guy with grey skin came out of the medium size exit that's from the wood that got stuck. He pulled me to his chest as a flaming piece of wood fell were I was standing.

"Who are you?" I asked. He pushed the collapse, not on fire, wood out of the way.

"Hurry." I ran through and so did he. He picked me up bridal style and jumped out of the window. I was stuck on the third floor and he landed on the ground and ran into the alley. "Sup. I'm Austin Jean." He gave me a smile.

"I'm Michealangelo but call me Mikey." I gave him a fake smile. He started laughing and grabbed my hand. We walked through the shadows and went down empty alley ways.

"I've seen that one before. I've pulled those too many times." We made it to an abandoned building and he lead us to the back. "Ya wanna see my motorcycle?" I nodded and he slung his arm around my shoulders. He unlocked the garage door and I saw a dark red motorcycle.

"Woah." He let go of me and I walked over to his motorcycle. "This is so radical!" I smiled for the first time in months. He gave a soft smile and gave me his fluffy jacket. "How does it work? Did you make it like this?" He smiled and ran over to a workbench.

"I did! I can show you!" He ran over with a toolbox. "I've been needing to upgrade some parts. I'll be so glad to teach you! I'll go over the basics and then you can try!" The door swung open and a person with a mask and a hoodie with a turtleneck stood there.

"Who the hell did you kidnap this time?" They asked. Austin placed the toolbox down and pushed me behind him. I held onto his arm.

"I didn't kidnap em. I saved them. Fuck off Smiley." Smiley laughed and left. Austin turned around and sat down by his bike. "They think I can't be good. Smiley is a stupid bomb slinger!" I sat beside him and he took apart the engine. He ranted about what goes where and what tool to use. He pulled me closer and helped me to take something apart.

"I hope I don't break it." He smiled.

"I'll get Error to fix it if we mess up. If we do then we can try have a date!" He smiled at me. I dropped the wrench in shock.

"You want to go on a date with me!?" I yelled. He nodded and soon we were done with the engine. "There's Smiley or Error!" He started laughing and pulled me into his lap.

"Smiley is my sibling from another dimension. Error is my best friend's brother who I'm not interested in. You're extremely cute and i like you for you. The date can be a friendly date!" He put everything back together and we got up. I felt myself smile and I laughed when he tripped over the toolbox. "I'm good!" He jumped up.

"How about we get pizza?" He got on his motorcycle and I got behind him. We left  out the front and we sped down the road. "THIS IS AMAZING!" I haven't felt this happy in too long. He parked into an alley way and grabbed my hand to help me off.

"Pizza is on me. I got a cool trick." He placed his hands on the floor and soon a few large pizzas were in his hands. "I paid, don't worry." We got back on and he drove us to an empty park. We started to eat and we made some jokes. I was laughing at the stories he told and he laughed at mine.

"Thanks for the pizza. It's been awhile since I laughed with someone. You don't act me like a burden and actually like me around." I looked down and Austin pulled me close.

"Yeah I get it. I'm not well liked either. I'm not the best big brother I need to be and no matter how much I try, they called me a terrible drunk excuse of a brother a few times." He smiled at the stars. "I'm with my own friends even though we're called the bad guys." He kissed my head and then pushed me away.

"Austin! What the- AUSTIN!" He had throwing knives in his shoulder and neck.

"I'm fine!" He ran in front on me. "I won't let you get hurt." He picked me up and started running. He held me close and then stopped.

"Austin?" He held my head against his neck.

"I seem to have met your brothers. Yeah. They're pissed. I think they're the ones that through the knifes at me." He joked. He held me tighter.

"What? They're here!?" I looked around and they had their weapons out.

"Honey pie. Hold on close." I wrapped my arms around his neck. He slammed his foot down and we shot into air. He started running across rooftops. "YA AIN'T GETTIN HIM!" He yelled and dodged the attacks. He faced them and three people jumped in front of us.

"Austin, as much as I hate the way you converse with other organisms, you somehow, again, made enemies." The guy with black hair said. The guy with orange hair was silent and held out his swords.

"You fucked up." Smiley laughed. "Oh and y'all ain't gonna get the kid back."

"Give him back or we're going to take him with force." Leo said.

"You hated him and I like him!" Austin yelled. "I actually value him and he'll be happier with me!" Smiley pulled out guns and laughed.

"Yeah. I kinda wanted a new friend to prank people with." Smiley stood in front of me when Austin set me down. Raph was being held back by Leo.

"I must rather have a new lab assistant that will make my experiments more exhilarating." Who I assume is Error said. The orange haired male nodded.

"Mikey? Do you want to stay with them or your family?" Donnie looked troubled. I held onto Austin.

"I want to stay with the people that actually care for me." Austin smiled and kissed my head. I can see him glare at my brothers.

"Damn right I do." Austin pulled out a gun. "I should kill you for the way he's treated but he's present so I won't." A red portal swallowed up and we were in the garage. The other three started to leave.

"I expect you to share him." They all left and Austin started to show me different constellations in books.
