Misjudged Book

Everyone's favorite ship. Of course this will be how I originally designed Smiley and not the little goofy man he is. I say little and he's like 5'10. Smiley originally was a goofy little man but mainly a silent deadly killer that would not hesitate to kill you. That and he didn't have tonfas before but tonfas just fit him. Angst, sorry. There will be a surprise at the end.

When the turtles first met Smiley, it was different. Smiley was hunting them and was going to kill Mikey but froze. Mikey was joking and smiling. Smiley walked out from the shadows and towered over Mikey from behind.

They wore a dusty pink turtleneck under a brown cape coat, black jeans, pink and blue shoes, an old ripped plum colored scarf, black gloves, a gun holster that was carrying guns, knife sheaths on their thighs, and a slightly scratched up greyish light purple mask that had a crying smiley face. They were also 5'10.

"MIKEY BEHIND YOU!" The others yelled. Mikey turned around and screamed but the person didn't flinch. They just stood there and the turtles didn't attack because of that. They were unarmed and wasn't posing as a threat.

"Who are you?" Mikey asked Smiley but they just stared at him. They leaned down slightly and signed at him. "Huh?" Smiley signed slower. "I don't know what you're saying." Donnie walked over and Smiley signed again slowly.

"They said they go by Smiley." They stood up and nodded. Leo walked over with a slightly angry but confused look.

"How long were you watching us? Why are you so calm about this? Who are you with!?" Smiley stared at him and turned to Donnie, signing their answer.

"They said for about month and they've seen worse. They're not with anyone but they were on a job for someone." Donnie gasped. "The Shredder." They pulled out their weapons but Smiley didn't. They dodged Raph's attacks and started to sign again.

"Stop waving your hands around and fight me!" Raph yelled but Smiley did a kick flip backwards off the wall. They didn't pull out their weapons at all. "WHY WON'T YOU FIGHT ME!?" Raph screamed. Mikey put his weapons away and got in front of Smiley. "Mikey!?" Mikey closed his eyes and waited for the pain.

It never came.

Smiley was in front on him, protecting him. They held the sais back with their hands but not where it would hurt them. "You... You saved me." Mikey was shocked. Smiley gently pushed to sais to Raph and let go. Smiley walked over and jumped on the fire escape. "Wait!" Mikey ran over and Smiley looked down. "You tried to say something earlier." His brothers were shocked and Smiley signed.

"Protecting the innocent smile. Sweet, pure, innocent happiness. That is their goal and the reason they didn't try to kill Mikey when they had the chance." Smiley nodded as Donnie spoke. Smiley started climbing and then disappeared.

Their paths always crossed if Mikey was there but would sometimes show when Donnie was there. Soon they brought Smiley to the lair and they behaved well with Master Splinter.

They always wore the same outfit and mask. They never spoke. They would ask to borrow tools from Donnie and help him, bring Raph comics and wrote down what they wanted to say, they would watch Space Heroes but write their complaints about how Star Trek is better, and they would play video games with Mikey and listen to him.

The brothers didn't really like Smiley with how they acted. They were stiff, didn't talk, and stayed to themselves mainly. They changed their outfit though.

Black hoodie, same mask and scarf, same dusty pink turtleneck, ripped blue jeans with pink leggings under it, black gloves, gun holsters, knife sheaths, tonfas, and pink and blue shoes. Since they didn't talk, they didn't have their voice changer.
