Bonjour, guys! New chapter! Yayy! Are you excited? It's kinda long too XD Anyways, I have a favor to ask of any of my talented cover-making fans. I am in need of a good cover for one of my stories and I'm just having a god awful time with it. So, if any of you want to be my bestest friend forever and ever, and can make a kickass cover, message me, pwwwease? I'll pay you handsomely. With my body.
Just kidding about my last part. XD But I'll like fan you or read you stuff or whatever it is you guys do when people make covers for you? Or whatever you want me to do really. I'm like on my knees begging though. So, yeah... uh... awkward. Just message me though, if you're interested XD
And my last announcement, which is only kind of an idea I've been playing with. So you all know how I'm working on that one fanfiction a fan asked me to make about them? I was considering turning "Forever Your's, Slender Man" into like a little collection of fanfiction with you guys as the stars! Sounds stupid, right? Give me opinions on it though. They are much appreciated. And don't forget about the cover thing. DON'T FORGET.
So, yeah. Here you go. Read this and stuff. Sorry for being all talkative today XD
--CHAPTER TWENTY-FOUR--
“You’re too unbalanced,” Elijah called to Sage. She was above him, hovering on a branch, attempting to climb a tall tree. The rough bark felt scratchy under her palms. She was grabbing onto the trunk of the tree, fearful of the fall if she lost her footing.
Sage had been training fiercely with Elijah the past three days. She was trying her damn hardest to become the perfect tool to use against the Slender Man. He had killed her family. He had broken her heart. He would pay. Pay for all the lives he had taken.
They hadn’t done anything too serious yet with the training, but she had been learning the history of the Hunter’s. They were formed about three decades after the first recording of the Slender Man. Elijah’s great, great, great grand father to whatever degree had started the entire group. Slendy had destroyed his town and family, much like he had Sage’s.
From then on, the group grew, and now there were Hunter’s all over the world, looking for the god awful Slender Man. Nobody has ever successfully caught him, and sightings of him are scarce, but they never lose hope.
According to what Elijah said, they also hunt the other evil beings of the world. Shadow People, who were some kind of villains passing between dimensions, causing havoc among humans. Vampires were a big one. They really weren’t all sweet and lovey-dovey like most modern novels portray them as. They were blood thirsty and crazy. They kill everything and anything. They just happen to be really smart and know how to hide evidence. From what she’d learned, most unsolved murders were the product of vampires.
Demons also roamed the earth. They aren’t as much of a threat as the two things that she learned before them. They were mostly fallen angels, along with the few exceptions of the off spring of demons and mortal people. Most of the demons liked to live in peace with humans and live on the earth, masquerading as them. Only every so often would one of them go crazy and possess a human. That’s when the Hunter’s stepped in.
Sage’s head whirled with all the new facts she’d learned, and ones she was still working on learning. Today was only her second day of actual training for fights and things of the like.
“You have to balance your weight all over. Pretend like you weigh five pounds. It’s all in your head. If you think you can, then you can,” Elijah told her, yelling up form at least twenty feet.
