A beautiful night had descended upon Shizen Academy, casting a silver glow over the academy grounds. Stars twinkled like scattered diamonds in the vast sky, complementing the soft golden lights that illuminated the grand Crystal Banquet Hall.
The grand foyer, adorned with intricate floral arrangements and elegant crystal chandeliers, was already bustling with elegantly dressed students arriving for the evening's festivities. Soft classical music played in the background, adding to the sophisticated ambiance.
At the entrance, four distinguished figures stood side by side, greeting the guests with poise and grace. Reina, Rin, Takuya, and Minoru—each dressed in impeccably tailored suits—held an air of quiet authority as they welcomed everyone into the hall.
"Good evening, welcome," Reina greeted with a refined smile, her deep blue gown shimmering subtly under the chandeliers.
"Please, make yourselves comfortable," Rin added, her sharp eyes scanning the guests with her usual composed demeanor.
Takuya, adjusting the cufflinks on his navy suit, flashed a charming smile. "We hope you enjoy the night."
Minoru, ever the silent observer, gave a respectful nod, his striking presence enough to make an impression even without words.
As more students arrived, whispers and excited chatter filled the air. The girls, dressed in flowing gowns of various pastel and jewel-toned shades, gasped in admiration at the scene before them. However, their attention quickly gravitated toward two of the hosts in particular.
A group of female students, utterly captivated, stepped forward, eyes sparkling with admiration.
"Ahhh, Takuya-san, and Minoru-san," one of them gushed, her cheeks flushed with excitement. "You look so cool in your suits—like royalty!"
Several others nodded eagerly, unable to take their eyes off the two.
Takuya, ever the gentleman, let out a smooth chuckle before offering a small bow. "Thank you, ladies. You all look stunning tonight as well," he complimented effortlessly, his voice rich with warmth and charm. "Please, enjoy the night to your heart's content."
Minoru, standing beside him, simply smirked before giving a polite, subtle nod of acknowledgment. Though he wasn't one for excessive words, his silent confidence only made him more intriguing to the admirers.
The girls, now completely swooning, giggled amongst themselves before heading into the banquet hall, their excitement bubbling over.
Meanwhile, Reina and Rin exchanged amused glances.
As expected from the chosen hosts for tonight's gala. The Shizen Soccer League is definitely on another level when it comes to popularity," she teased, watching as more students shot admiring glances at the group.
"It was a bit expected, especially with Arion finally back with us," Minoru said, his gaze flickering toward the ballroom entrance.
Reina nodded. "True, but even without Arion, your league has always been at the top," she pointed out. "Honestly, the entire soccer community on this island admires your team. You've set a standard that others can only dream of reaching."
Her tone was light, but there was a genuine respect behind her words.
Takuya smirked, glancing toward Minoru. "See? Even Reina acknowledges our excellence."
Minoru rolled his eyes slightly but didn't deny it.
"But it's not just soccer or academics," Reina continued, tilting her head playfully. "Even when it comes to looks, your team seems to captivate just about everyone—both ladies and men alike."
