Sunday morning arrived with golden sunlight spilling across the horizon, casting a warm glow over the quiet town. The air was crisp, the sky a soft shade of blue, and a gentle breeze carried the scent of pine and fresh earth-an ideal day for a morning jog.

Arion moved along a winding mountain trail, his breath steady and rhythm calm. Dressed in a blue hoodie and white jogging pants, he blended into the serenity around him. Footsteps light on the path covered with fallen leaves. With each inhale, he felt more alive-more connected. Out here, surrounded by nature and silence, the weight he carried felt a little lighter.

He reached a bend in the trail where the trees thinned slightly, revealing a sweeping view of the valley below. Just as he paused to take it in, a familiar figure appeared ahead, stretching by the edge of a large boulder.

"Tsunami-san?" Arion blinked in surprise.

The towering defender turned, grinning wide. "Yo! Arion!" he waved with one arm, his other hand resting on his hip. "Didn't expect to see you all the way out here this early."

Arion jogged up to him with a smile. "I could say the same to you. What brings you out here?"

Tsunami chuckled. "Same as you, probably. Clears the mind, right? Plus, waves don't train themselves-even if I'm not by the sea." He winked.

Arion laughed softly, the tension in his shoulders loosening. "Yeah... nature helps. Makes everything feel... quieter."

Tsunami tilted his head, studying Arion with a thoughtful look. "You've changed a bit, haven't you?"

Arion didn't answer right away. His eyes wandered to the valley below, where sunlight danced across the trees like ripples on water. "Maybe," he said quietly. "Or maybe... I'm just starting to remember who I used to be."

Tsunami didn't pry. Instead, a warm grin spread across his face as he gave Arion a light pat on the back. "Deep thoughts for this early in the morning, huh?"

Then he asked, more casually, "You eaten yet?"

Arion shook his head, brushing a few strands of hair from his face. "Not yet."

Tsunami brightened. "Perfect. There's this place down the hill that does killer miso soup and grilled fish. Come on-my treat."

Arion blinked, surprised, then smiled genuinely. "I'd like that."

"Good. Let's fuel up. Nothing like a good breakfast to go with a fresh start," Tsunami said, already turning down the path with a relaxed, easy stride.

Arion followed beside him, the mountain air light around them as the two figures disappeared into the trees-old souls reconnecting on a quiet morning, where words weren't always needed.

The path down the mountain was quiet, save for the rustle of wind through the trees and the occasional call of a bird overhead. Tsunami walked with the ease of someone who belonged to nature, his hands tucked behind his head, soaking in the sunlight.

Arion kept pace beside him, hoodie still pulled over his head, the morning breeze brushing against his face. The silence between them was comfortable, grounded by unspoken understanding.

The narrow path eventually opened up to a cozy little shop nestled at the edge of the mountain foothills. Its wooden exterior was sun-worn and welcoming, with smoke gently curling from a small chimney and the faint, mouthwatering aroma of grilled fish hanging in the air.

As they approached, the shop owner-a middle-aged man with kind eyes and a towel slung over his shoulder-looked up from behind the counter.

"Tsunami! Long time no see!" the owner called out with a grin.
