Proxima's Mission (DISCONTINUED)

Chapter IX - Another Protogen

[Sorry for the delay, I just lost my ideas and don't have the mood to write this. Now, prepare for the most boring chapter I think I've ever written but one of the most important chapters.]

Proxima starts to ask questions in his mind, "Who are those people? Why are they bringing us in? So many questions." They bring Proxima and Toli to a room and see a chair facing behind. "Hey, I think you want to meet these guys," the person said. The chair turned around revealing another protogen. The protogen has red fur with a yellow color surrounding its visor. Proxima, Toli, and the unknown protogen are surprised at the same time. "Uhh, who are you? Why do you look so familiar?" the protogen asked, "I'm Proxima Centauri, and she is Alpha Centauri B but you can call me Proxima," he answered, "And you can call me Toli," she continued. "Uh, that's a bit awkward because my name is Alpha Centauri A, but you can call me Rigil," he said. Everyone in the room is more surprised to hear that their last names are the same, "Are the three of us siblings?" Proxima theorized, "We could be," Toli answered. "Our code numbers are next to each other," Toli explained.

Rigil stood up and approached them, "So we're siblings, huh?" Rigil asked, "We could be, and Proxima is the youngest sibling," Toli answered. "Wait, why am I the youngest?" Proxima replied, "Because it says you were created one day after I was," Toli explained, "Alright, I guess I can understand that," Proxima said. "Are you guys here to invade us or not?" Rigil asked, "What? Of course not," Proxima answered. "Then why are you here?" Rigil asked again, "We're here to take a break because we're going to attack the Vatulians in the Andromeda Galaxy," Proxima explained, "Really? Because we're preparing to do that too!" Rigil said, "That's awesome! Are you guys making spaceships and weapons?" Toli asked, "Yes! Yes! We're making those stuff too, and we're also looking for allies," Rigil said. "Well, do you want to be allies?" Proxima asked, "Oh yes, please. It's always nice to have an ally. What is your group name?" Rigil asked, "The Russian Space Forces," Proxima answered, "Oh, I'm not part of it, I'm just helping them out," Toli continued.

"By the way, the people behind you are my friends, Juxya and Nures," Rigil said, "Nice to meet you, I'm Juxya," she said, "I'm Nures," he simply said. "Nice to meet you two," Proxima and Toli said. "Anyway, what is the name and size of your group?" Proxima asked, "We're The Vatulian Resistance and sadly, we only recruited three people," Rigil explained, "Well, that's a bit sad. How about you come to our base in the Solar System?" Proxima invited. "The Solar System? I thought that was captured by the Vatulians already?" Rigil asked, "Nope, it's still free from them," Proxima replied, "Really? Let's go then!" Rigil said excitingly.

Proxima, Rigil, and the others went back to the surface, then General Timofey noticed and approached them, "Who are these people?" he questioned, "These are our new allies," Proxima answered, "I see you found one of your species again," the general said, "Not only he is one of my species, he is my brother!" Proxima said happily, "Oh nice! So I get it now, the three of you were named after the stars in the Alpha Centauri system," Timofey stated. "Yeah anyway, we're going back to Earth. Then we'll be able to work together and expand our fleet," Proxima said, "Alright then, let's go," Timofey replied.

After having a journey going back, they reached the Solar System heliosphere. Then, they entered Mars's sphere of influence and landed on the planet. Proxima then explained to everyone who Rigil and his friends are and how are they going to help them fight.

Meanwhile, in the Vatulian palace, King Zymbyt entered his bedroom and saw Queen Feadsa staring out the window. "Hey, what's going on?" he asked, "Why did we become an empire?" she replied, "Why are you asking this?" he said, "Because we conquered countries without mercy, and then we suffered them," she explained. " I must continue the family tradition, and I won't fail my father," he explained, "Forget about this selfish family tradition, this must end now!" she said angrily, and then she exited the room with the door slammed hard. Even after that fight, King Zymbyt doesn't have the mind to end the empire's conquest.

"Hey, which country do you work here in?" Rigil asked Proxima, "Oh, the Russian Federation, or Russia," Proxima said, "Interesting name, 'Russian Federationorrussia'," Rigil jokingly said. Both laughed together. "Anyway, where's the Russian government located?" Rigil asked again, "It's located on planet Earth, why?" Proxima asked back "I need to go there to talk about diplomacy," Rigil answered, "You should ask General Timofey, I know nothing about human politics," Proxima said.

General Timofey is in the middle of a video call with his wife and children on Earth. Rigil then walks in and called the general. "Hey, can I have a moment?" Rigil asked in Russian, "Oh yeah, can you wait for a moment? Thanks," General Timofey said. After a few minutes, the general ended the call, "Alright, how can I help you?" he asked Rigil, "Oh yeah, Proxima said I need to ask you to go and talk with the government of Russia," Rigil explained, "That is kind of difficult because as you know, it's hard to get in contact with a government unless you're a high-ranking in their politics or military," General Timofey explained, "Since this is going be an interstellar war which means, we need a meeting with every leader on Earth or at least top ranking air and space forces," General Timofey continued. "Well, can you invite them?" Rigil asked, "I will have to go to Earth and ask the Commander of the Russian Aerospace Forces if we can hold a meeting with all the top-ranking air forces and space forces on Earth," General Timofey replied, "That means I have to come," Rigil said. The general nodded, and then he realized something, "Wait a minute, how can you speak and understand Russian fluently? Did Proxima teach you in seconds or what?" General Timofey asked, "Oh, I'm just able to translate every language in this galaxy," Rigil replied, "Interesting," General Timofey said.
