Rose Vila Wheeler
(Flashback)

My eyes slowly open, it's hard to see anything. Everything I like a blur.

The first thing I take notice in is my pounding headache and the blood running down from the cut on my head.

The lights flickering are reflecting on the tiled floor.

I slowly begin to get up ignoring every ache in my body getting sitting up from the cold floor.

I look to the side of me to see Max and Mike passed out on the floor.

Everything comes back to memory in a heartbeat.

Billy did this.

He hit me.

I groan, never mind.  This wasn't Billy, this was the mindflayer.

I rush over instantly to them, I shake Mike in how's of getting him to wake up.

I see the faintest of blood running down his nose.

"Mike wake up!" I frantically begin to shake him.

I hear the mindflayer in a distance and fireworks being set off inside the mall.
I also hear everyone else yelling.

Please when I walk out there no one be dead.

I feel as Mike's body twitches under my touch before his eyes slowly begin to open.

I sigh in relief, "Mike come on we have to get up!"

He groans feeling his nose wiping it before becoming aware of what's happening.

He then sits up fully and we both turn to Max.

"Max! Max come on wake up!" He yells shaking her.

She instantly gets up confused of her surroundings before all realization hits her.

"Billy-" She says scared and alarmed.
"We have to go get Billy!"

Me and Mike look and each other.

Max reaches her hands out, "I can't- I can't walk."
She utters out and me and Mike get on either side of her helping her up.

She leans on us to hold herself up as we throw her arms over our shoulders.

We all begin to walk out of the back rooms full of anticipation making our way to the main part of the mall whet everyone is out.

And suddenly I hear the fireworks stop.

Me and Mike give each other the same look before looking back ahead of us beginning to walk faster as Max tries to drag her feet with us.

"Shit shit shit shit!" Mike mutters to himself as we push through what feels like a million white heavy doors. Entering more hallways.

I feel the adrenaline tack through my whole body with my lungs feeling smaller and feeling like it's harder to breathe.

We make it through the final hallway and at the end of the hallway through the last door, through the glass I hear screams and I see neon blue and red lights shining barely through the door in the hallway we're currently walking in.

Me and Mike push the door open and I'm staring at my feet trying to get through the door before Max takes her arm off of my shoulder releasing herself from my hold.
