Fishlegs - Gold Rush #7

Based on gold rush episode. You are basically Heather in this episode and have a moment with Fishlegs then decide whether or not you should leave with Dagur the Deranged who is also your brother. 

I'm currently visiting the Edge where the other riders now live for a little while to rest before we leave for our mission. The twins are taking an interest in my dragon, a Razorwhip. "It's like I can reach out and touch it. I can reach out and touch it!" Tuffnut says feeling the scales of Vortex. That's her name. "This is the best dream ever!" I decide to step in then. "You're not dreaming Tuff." I tell him. "What are you doing here y/n? I don't remember inviting you to my wedding with the Razorwhip?" I laughed. And told him once again he's not dreaming. He then screams in panic and runs off to the Zippleback he shares with his sister. 

As soon as the twins were done obsessing over Vortex, they became interested in my double sided axe. First the twins came at me wanting to see if I'm any good at fighting. Then Astrid decided to join in. Needless to say, I beat them all. Even Astrid. Toothless was next to come over and he was his usual playful self. To put it simply, I missed these guys. And then one thing led to another and before I knew it I decided to end up staying at Dragon's Edge permanently.

One evening, we were sitting around the table having dinner, lamb chops to be exact. Everyone seems to like my cooking which I'm happy about. Anyway, everything was going perfectly, all of us just talking about anything and nothing when suddenly, little did I know at the time, my life would permanently change again just by the appearance of Dagur. I was definitely surprised to see my brother back here. I was even more surprised when he told us that one of Viggo's men told him where he keeps his gold. "And if I remember correctly, some of that gold..." Dagur begins. "Is Berk's gold." Hiccup finishes. "Bingo!" Dagur says. Which has led to the current mission of retrieving Berk's gold. 

During the mission, however, Dagur keeps saying that I'll be joining him in his search for our father. I mean, while I'd love to see him again, I'm not about to drop everything for Dagur. He did set me adrift as a child after all. I still don't think I can forgive him for that, ever. But then he explained why I have to go with him and said, "It's time to go home sis." 

While Dagur explored the cave to check if there was any gold inside, Fishlegs told me he didn't want me to leave which was pretty sweet. And when he told me I'm a dragon rider, I realised I had truly finally been accepted somewhere I can call home. That also lead to the brief moment we had where we almost kissed. The only thing to disturb that moment was Dagur running out of the cave yelling something about Night Terrors making terrible meditation partners. "So, what did I miss?" He says when the small dragons flew off. Me and Fishlegs didn't say anything but just looked away with an awkward smile and I laughed a little.

After Berk's gold was retrieved successfully, I realised me and Dagur actually do work well as a team which also made me realise that maybe he was right. Maybe I ought to go with him. Fishlegs seemed to understand that. "You need to find about your family, your heritage. Just know that we... I will always be here for you." "Thank you." I said to him and kissed his cheek. "She'll be safe with me." Dagur says to him. "She better be." And the two shake hands and I fly off with my brother. We didn't say goodbye because we both know we'll see each other again soon enough.
