Ruffnut/Tuffnut - Thor's Lightning Storm #6

Kind of based on the episode titled Blind Sided. You are the triplet sister of Ruff and Tuff and are all outside watching a thunder storm. Who doesn't love watching a good thunder storm, right?

I sat on top of our hut during the storm while everyone else was hiding from the storm. Wusses. "Can you believe they're missing Thor's mighty work?" Tuff says as he cracks open a nut on Ruff's helmet. I do the same but on my brothers helmet. "No I cannot." I say watching the thunder storm take action. The others say we should be inside to wait out the storm but to be honest, who doesn't love watching a good thunder storm? It's one of my favourite pass times. Not to mention it's hilarious when Snotlout gets struck by Thor's mighty strike of lightning. I'm surprised Thor hasn't killed the guy yet. 

Anyway, we were admiring Thor's stormy weather when one of the lightning strikes the stables. We saw Astrid getting the dragons out of there while we decided it was probably time to head back into the club house. Though what we didn't realise how badly Astrid had been affected. She had been blinded by the lightning. Makes sense it is bright after all. Bright as the sun? Maybe, that's just one of life's questions we will never know. Though as to no surprise my brother and sister weren't understanding the situation so once we all left the club house, I explained to them that she was blind and therefore could not see. 

After that, we all decided to go off and find our dragons. Though my siblings had another idea in mind. "Wait a minute, who's playing Astrid?" Tuff asks. "Can you see?" Ruff responds. "Nope, nothing but pitch black over here." "Then you my brother are playing Astrid." I roll my eyes at them. While I love being destructive with them and watching destructive stuff happen, I fail to see the usefulness in this. "Why exactly are you guys doing this?" I ask them. "We live with a blind person now. We owe it to her to know what it's like to be in her shoes. Okay, come on Tuff, come to the sound of my voice." Ruff half answers. I still fail to see how it's useful. By the way, this is why people tell me why I am the smarter triplet. Also, this can only end in pain for Tuff. 

My theory was proven correct when he fell off the cliff. I was expecting him to yell out that he was hurt, very much hurt, like he normally does but it never came. "Hey, guys, I think I landed on something." He says to us much to my relief, of course I don't show that because us triplets are supposed to be the toughest and craziest out of the group. Anyway, me and Ruff looked over the cliff to find out he hand landed on Meatlug. Well, at least we found one of the dragons. I just want to find my dragon. Sure Ruff and Tuff share a Zippleback, but I wanted my own dragon.

Once we were all back together, Hiccup and Toothless were getting their butts kicked by the Triple Stryke. Needless to say, it was amazing to witness Astrid train a dragon while being blind. "And that's how you get close enough to train it." Hiccup says. After that, we bring the dragon back to the Edge to really begin it's training. The last thing we need to do before that though, is check to see how much damage Thor's lightning storm has caused to the island and to our homes. Me, Ruff and Tuff already have new ideas on how to rebuild our huts if it hasn't survived.
