You are the daughter of Hiccup and Astrid. You're not a fan of dragons but will your fear of them stay with you forever or will you learn to like them? (Not a good summary I don't think)

My dad keeps telling me stories of dragons saying that they used to exist not too long ago. If that were true, then where are they now? And why would my dad befriend them after he lost his leg because of them? It just doesn't make sense to me. Anyway, he's telling me one of his stories right now. One about the Night Fury protecting him from the dragon that creates lightning. I forget the name of it. Skill is it? No that doesn't sound right. Skrill? Yes, that's it. All these stories, it sounds to me like all dragons are dangerous. If we do ever see one, obvious thing to do is kill it. Oh, and a mind controlling dragon? Yeah... as if.

"Y/n, come on let's go." Mother says. "Where are we going?" I ask. "It's a surprise." It must be somewhere good if she's not telling me. My younger brother, Nuffink is already on a boat. Hmm, we going on vacation? "We got enough provisions Astrid?" I hear my dad say as he hops onto the boat. "Yeah we do. Let's go." She says to him and we both leave to wherever it is we are going.

///

Ugh, we have been on this boat forever. I still don't know where we are going. There is nothing out here except endless ocean and me feeling nauseous. Or at least there wasn't anything out there. We come across a gigantic waterfall. It looks like the end of the world and we could just tip off the edge. That's when I spot them. So does my brother. We immediately hide behind mother knowing that we are in danger for a dragon a big black one landed at the front of our boat. I watch from behind mother waiting for the monster to eat dad. It's going to happen I just know it.

A few minutes they stared at each other. Then the dragon jumps on dad and I know he's going to eat him there and then. But mother doesn't seem worried. In fact, she seems... happy? "He's not going to eat your father." She tells us. "Hey bud, how's that tail of yours holding up?" Dad says to the dragon as though it'd be able to understand him. Whatever the case, he seems happy with the tail. I'm still confused and terrified about the whole situation. Especially when it looks over at me and Nuffink.

Dad brings us closer to the dragon and we're both absolutely terrified. Me more so than my brother. He takes one of our hands and tells us to hold it and that he'll come to us. I'm not sure what he means by that. Then the dragon puts his nose on our hands and we're both no longer scared. No, we're amazed! That's when dad got me and Nuffink on the dragon after he climbed onto it. This is crazy! I'm about to fly on the back of a dragon! And to think I didn't believe in dragons this morning and was scared to death a moment ago.

I noticed another dragon. Another type of dragon. Not a Night Fury or the light version. I'm not sure what this one is. "Mother, what dragon is that?" I asked pointing to it. "That's, that's Stormfly! A Deadly Nadder." Mother climbs onto the dragon she called Stormfly and we took off into the air. I noticed not only was the light version of the Night Fury following us, but also there were baby ones that were both black and white and so cute!

Without realising, mother grabs me off Toothless I think he said the Night Fury is called and places me on Stormfly. I now realise I am perfectly safe with these dragons and mother and dad wouldn't let anything happen to me or Nuffink so now I know there is nothing to be scared about. Needless to say, after this experience, I no longer hate dragons. And I'll pay more attention to dads stories now that I believe him.

Ending this one here. I know it doesn't follow the short film completely but it's been so long since I've seen it. I need to rewatch it. Anyway, what did you all think? Requests are OPEN! You can request via comments or private message. Don't forget to VOTE! :)
