Heather - Reunion After Grimmel #1

Not everyone had to say goodbye to the dragons after all after Grimmel. You befriended another Light Fury and take her to meet your girlfriend, Heather. When you try bonding with your Light Fury, she wants you to eat a fish head much like Hiccup had to when he met Toothless. Will you do the same and eat it or be too grossed out?

A/N - I still don't proofread any of my works. And expect a lot of Heather one shots! She's my absolute fav in the whole franchise, her and Astrid! 

Moonlight shone down as Moonstream flew across the ocean back to Berserker Island after the whole Grimmel the Grisly episode. We nearly had to say goodbye to our dragons forever. I don't think I could live without Moonstream after finding and rescuing her. We thought the first Light Fury we saw was the only one in existence. We were proven wrong after I found Moonstream in a dragon trap and freed her from it. Ever since, she has stayed with me.

That's where flying home to Berserker Island comes in. I'm just glad to have a peaceful journey home. There's one main thing... or person I can't wait to see when I get home. She couldn't be there during the episode back on Berk and then them all moving to New Berk. She couldn't be there because she is the chief after her brother married the queen of the Defenders of the Wing. Yep, the girl I am talking about is none other than Heather.

When I arrive back, I find her on the training grounds, similar to the one we had on the Edge for our dragons. She is training with Dagur. I watch as the two battle it out for victory, one second it looks like Heather will win, then Dagur and so on and so forth. Me and Moonstream watch wondering who it will be that'll win. Oh, I should add, Heather and Dagur haven't met Moonstream yet.

It looks like Dagur is going to win this fight, he has her pinned down awaiting her 'surrender' but then she does a backward roll to get him off her which catches him off guard and she takes the opportunity to pin him down by kicking the bottom of his legs before she stands. Dagur surprisingly gives up at this point which makes me wonder how long they have been going at it. "Good fight sis." They bump fists as she smiles at him. Then Dagur looks over at me.

"Hey y/n, who's your new friend?" He asks me causing Heather to look over. "Guys, this is Moonstream, a Light Fury." I say to them as we head inside the arena. (We watched from the outside of it as to not get in their way). "She's gorgeous but how did you manage to find and bond with a dragon so much like Toothless?" And I told them the whole story of how we met.

"Well, that explains why you were gone for so long." Heather says as she sits down next to me in the dining hall. We made our way over there as I explained the whole story of Grimmel. Dagur left the island to head back to queen Mala at the Defenders of the Wing. Anyway, we both ate as I continued telling her that Berk changed location and they are now called New Berk and how we nearly had to say goodbye to all of the dragons. "Wow, that would be a strange and awful world to have no dragons. I couldn't imagine my life without Windshear." She says looking over at the Razorwhip. I also went on to telling her that Hiccup and Astrid are now married and Ruffnut and Fishlegs are now a couple which we both laugh at. Just simply because it's so unexpected and such an odd pairing but they're happy so that's what counts I suppose.

"How have things been here?" I ask Heather as she takes my hand that's lay on the table. "Nothing eventful here. Just things seemed to go a lot slower without you around." I smile at her answer, and she leans forward from the opposite side of the table and kisses me. "But now that you're back, we have a lot of catching up to do once the dragons are in their quarters for the night. I know exactly what she means by that, and I smirk as we head to the stables.

The next morning, I woke up from the best sleep I've had in a long time. Needless to say, last night was full of events that will never be shared for personal reasons. Wink, wink. Anyway, today, me and Heather are just having a relaxed day since everything seems quiet on the island. We're going to our usual spot in the forest to relax and let the dragons get to know each other and hopefully become friends.

"I've been meaning to ask, are there any differences between Toothless and Moonstream besides their colour?" She asks. "Well, for starters, Moonstream not only has the advantage of night like Toothless, but she also has the advantage of day to. She can hide in the sea fog, clouds, and distant horizons. Oh, and she can teleport too. We also discovered that Night Furies and Light Furies are both part of the strike class. She can also turn invisible by heating her skin as she flies through her plasma blasts, I'm guessing because of her mirror like scales." "Sounds like I missed quite a lot." She speaks. I nod in agreement.

Burbles of a nearby stream could be heard. I noticed the noise even more once I realised, I needed a drink when I found my canteen was empty. "You need yours refilling?" I ask offering to take hers too. "I'll come with you; the dragons will probably need a drink too." And with that, we both head to the stream with Moonstream and Windshear following us.

Both dragons had a drink from the stream and caught a fish each. Moonstream puked the fish head back up and tried offering it to me. I remember Hiccup had to do this during their bonding stage. I tried to decline the offer by giving it back to her, but she picked it up in her mouth and dropped it in my hands, dragon saliva covered all over the fish head.

"You're not actually going to, are you?" Heather asks knowing full well what's going on here. I don't answer her but very hesitantly, take a tiny bite out of the nasty fish head and it took everything I had to swallow it without puking it back up. I don't even look at Heather knowing she'll be pulling a disgusted face. I'm disgusted but if it means making a stronger bond with Moonstream and it worked for Hiccup and Toothless, then it'll work now. And my theory is confirmed because Moonstream seems happy with my reaction and eats the rest of the fish head. I just hope this doesn't cause me stomach-ache later. I'll also definitely need to freshen up my mouth if I want to kiss Heather again today.
