"Welcome back", a friendly Korok greeted
"Nice to see you too", Sheik said; walking further into the forest, the many Korok's around were off doing their own things as the Great Deku Tree slept; Sheik's eyes soon landed on the two swords in a pedestal, in front of the tree; Sheik approached the swords and observed, the swords were in good condition, and the items in between were proof of the past heroes adventures; Sheik carefully placed his hands on the swords hilts, hoping he could see anything about his parents... but the sword showed or said nothing; with a sigh, his hands slid off the blades... the only memory he had of his parents was from stories told by his family, and a few pictures his aunt's had... mainly from Purah.
"Who is that... did I doze off again", the Great Deku Tree asked
"Hello, Great Deku Tree", Sheik greeted
"Ah, Sheik, it's nice to see you again", the Great Deku Tree said, "what brings you here",
"Now that I'm eighteen, I plan to climb the Great Plateau and see where my father's at", Sheik explained, "I thought about stopping by here, seeing if the swords could show me anything about them... but as always, nothing yet",
"What you seek may not always be what you'll like to find", the Great Deku Tree stated, "many heroes of the past have learned and experience this; the Heroes of Time learned this lesson twice",
"I've only read their tale from when they saved the Hyrule of old", Sheik said
"But there is another tale, one of which your mother was eager to learn about", the Great Deku Tree said
"From Aunt Impa, mom loved the stories of old", Sheik muttered
"And when she learned about another story, she was eager to learn about it", the Great Deku Tree explained, "care to hear the tale",
"Why not", Sheik said with a smile
"Very well... this tale begins after the adventure of the Heroes of Time", the Great Deku Tree said, "In the land of Hyrule, there echoes a legend; a legend held dearly by the Royal Family that tells of two heroes; heroes who, after battling evil and saving Hyrule, crept away from the land that had made them a legend; done with the battles they once waged across time, they embarked on a journey, a secret and personal journey; a journey in search of a beloved and invaluable friend... a friend with whom they parted ways when they finally fulfilled their heroic destinites and took their places among legends...",
