Legend of Zelda, The Mask of Majora

Clock Town

"Where are we", Kate asked; looking around, they were now in a town, and many people around the square, building something

"I don't know", Link said

"He gives me the creeps, that mask salesman was the...", Tatl began, stopping once she saw Link and Kate, their attention was on her, "sorry... just thinking aloud; but three days, even if we never sleep, that still leaves us with a measly 72 hours; talk about demanding... well, don't just stand there, we're going to see the Great Fairy",

"Great Fairy", Kate asked

"Look, you wanna find the Skull Kid, don't you", Tatl asked, both Link and Kate nodding their heads

"The Great Fairy will know what he's up to, she watches over everything", Tatl explained, "and just between you both and me, the Skull Kid is no match for the Great Fairy; go to the shrine near the North Gate, you'll find the Great Fairy in there",

"Alright... to the north", Link said, the two began running forward, but with Kate's new form, she was slower than normal

"Link, wait up... I can't run that fast", Kate called out; Link slowed down to a stop, allowing Kate to catch up, "sorry... not used to this",

"Me either", Link said, the two walking toward the north side of town, where they were greeted by a small playground area, and what appeared to be of a cave; walking inside, Link and Kate found themselves in a fountain-like area, where the Great Fairy resided.

"Tatl, and two others... I am the Great Fairy of Magic, I thought that masked child was helping me, and I grew careless" the Great Fairy said, "my power is depleted, and I do not know of the Skull Kid's whereabouts; however, the man who lives in the Observatory outside of town may know of the Skull Kid's whereabouts; but be careful, either of you must not underestimate that child's powers",

"Now... where is the Observatory", Link asked

"Maybe if we ask around town, we'll figure it out", Kate reassured; leaving the Fairy Fountain, Link and Kate began exploring around the town, eventually finding a way outside of town through the sewers and reaching the Observatory; Link peered into the telescope, both found the Skill Kid on top of the Clock Tower,

"Found him", Link said, moving out of the way as Kate peered into the telescope

"There has to be a way to the top", Kate said, looking at the Clock Tower

"You see any way up", Link asked

"No, but he seems to be looking up", Kate said, moving the telescope to see the moon; Kate's eyes widened in shock, the moon with a creepy face was looming over the town, slowly moving toward the town

"What is it", Link asked

"Take a look", Kate said, moving out of the way as Link peered into the telescope once more, his eyes soon widening as he backed away from the telescope

"What is that thing", Link asked in shock

"By the look of it... the moon", Kate said

"Well, did you find that troublemaker", the man asked as Link and Kate nodded their heads, "but I wonder, how did that troublemaker get on top of the clock tower, the only way up there is through the clock door, and that only opens on the eve of the carnival",

"The carnivals on the third day, we have today and tomorrow to get past", Kate said

"Then let's find a way to pass time", Link said and Kate nodded her head; returning to Clock Town, Link and Kate began exploring around the carnival set up, even hearing an old woman reading a story where unfortunately, both fell asleep; day one flew by fast, day two seemed slow, but the third day had finally arrived, Link and Kate were awoken by tremors, the festival had begun, but there wasn't a lot of people there; looking up to the sky, the moon was closer than before.
