Link and Kate made it back to Clock Town as night was entering the land, the town was evacuating, some staying behind, the carnival was ready, but with the moon; no one was there; back at the Clock Tower, the way to the top was opened.

"Ready for this", Link asked

"Let's stop the moon from destroying this place", Kate said as the two ran forward, reaching the top, the Skull Kid and Tael were waiting for them.

"Sis", Tael called out

"Tael", Tatl called out

"Swamp, Mountain, Ocean, Canyon, hurry... the four are there... bring them here...", Tael shouted, only to be swatted away by the Skull Kid

"Don't speak out of line, stupid fairy", the Skull Kid scolded, glaring at Tael

"That's it, I won't let things go the way you expect them to", Tatl shouted

"...Well, whatever, even if they were to come now, they wouldn't be able to handle me", the Skull Kid stated, "just look above you, if it's something that can be stopped, then just try to stop it",

"Kate, you know what to do", Link said, as Kate nodded her head, playing the song they learned from the giants; the ground began to shake, alerting the Skull Kid as the Giants cried out... From the Swamp, Mountain, Ocean, and Canyon, the four giants met up at Clock Town, grabbing the moon and holding it up, stopping it from crashing, the Skull Kid fell to the ground",

"It... it stopped", Tatl said, "we did it, it stopped",

"Sis", Tael called out, flying toward them

"Tael", Tatl called out, both fairies flying around each other in a circle, "good... we made it in time, the giants call worked on the Skull Kid; hey, Skull Kid, do you realize what you've been doing to everyone",

"Wait... Sis... don't... don't be so hard on the Skull Kid", Tael pleaded

"Tael, why are you protecting him, aren't you mad at him for hitting you so much", Tatl asked

"He was lonely... the Skull Kid", Tael said

"He was trying to destroy everything around him", Tatl argued, "that is not the same as a lonely child, we can't allow that",

"The power of the mask made him do it, it was too much for the Skull Kid to handle", Tael explained

"It's 'cause he doesn't know his place", Tatl shouted, "on top of having a weak will and no strength of heart... he's a fool",

"Certainly, he had far too many weaknesses to use my power", a voice said, causing everyone to snap their heads toward the Skull Kid, his body began to float, yet he was unconscious; it was the mask that was talking

"A puppet that can no longer be used is mere garbage", Majora stated, disconnecting itself from the Skull Kid, "this puppet's role has just ended...",

"It can't be, then that moon", Tael began as something came from the moon, taking the mask to it; the moon's eyes lit up

"I... I shall consume, consume... consume everything", Majora shouted, the moon's descent beginning once again

"Waahhhh, this isn't good, let's go back, let's go back", Tatl shouted, "hurry, the Song of Time, the Song of Time",

"No... the outcome would still be the same", Kate said, she and Link eyeing what brought Majora to the moon

"Aw, no... you've got to be kidding, don't tell me you're going up there", Tatl asked as both Link and Kate nodded their heads, "I won't do it, you both go, I'm staying here with Tael",
