Every morning feels easier than the last because Grayson has come into my life. He's made things breathable and when I'm around him I'm instantly calm, it makes me forget about all the bad things that are going on around me.

I try my hardest to mask my disappointment before she catches on and I force a smile. "Good morning," I swallow harshly.
My mothers eyes flick over my face and down at my robe. "You need to get out of bed and get dressed, into something nice," she straightens out her pencil skirt. "You are needed at exactly ten o'clock, please be ready in time. People will be waiting for you."
