"Tell me how it is, being the sun. You could walk into a room and they'd all be watching you. They'd all get down on their knees. I ask you how it is, and you say, "It hurts. It hurts.""

The invitations I sent out to my family were nothing short of dramatic. Erebus insisted that he and I travel to Ambrosia and speak to them directly, but that was dangerous because Moros and Verena were hiding in my Kingdom. So I sent out a mind message to all of them six weeks ago and hoped they would see through my supposed love for Erebus. Really, I did not know what to expect. But they replied almost immediately–saying they will attend my wedding. And now I was waiting for them to enter the rift I created while Erebus was standing close to me. The wedding was tomorrow and I was already jittery, but it was not the good kind. It was the worry that I was going to fail at this plan I have been working on for months. With my family beside me, it would help. They were always my rock, even now.

My hands were shaking but I held them together as though it would help. Though, it did not. Amias and Lyssa stood away from us but I did not care–as long as they were here with me. The rift still held strong and I held my breath as the first person stepped through. Relief spread throughout my entire body at the sight of my father, Sebastian Breevort. He black eyes immediately locked into mine, filled with the same relief I had. Father and daughter, reunited at last. He wore his King regalia proudly–as though it would intimate the God of Darkness. I was not looking forward to him getting on the God's nerves, but then again I am similar to him in a lot of ways. So, the two of them clashing would be a sight to see. I ran to him as quickly as I could and embraced him like nothing else mattered. And nothing did at the moment because my father was here and he was going to walk me down the aisle as though I was getting married to a normal man. I do not think he expected his younger daughter to marry a God, but here we are. Sebastian let out a sigh of relief in my hair and my sunlight danced in triumph. The same light runs in his veins as it did mine.

I could feel Erebus's gray eyes staring at the both of us, but I did not care enough to look back at him. "I am proud of you, Soari. No matter what happens in the next twenty-four hours, that will never change, little sunshine." he whispered in my ear. Sebastian pulled back a little, his lips pulled into a tight smile. He turned toward Erebus now, his smile disappearing immediately. "So, you are the so-called God that is forcing my daughter to marry him?"

My mother appeared out of nowhere, placing her palm on my father's chest to make him back down. Her eyes were the same as mine, fiercely looking between Erebus and me. As she saw me, she grinned in relief. As quickly as I could, I placed my arms around her tightly because she needed to know I didn't mean to lash out on her. To speak false about how she feels about me. Elora would do anything for her family and I realized that, now. "I missed you, Mama." I whispered quietly in her ear, though her scarlet hair was covering it. "Is everyone behind you?"

She pulled away, still smiling at me softly as though it was the morning sun. We were so different, yet similar in a lot of ways. Elora was known across cities, across worlds. My name was known by the Gods the second I was born. We were meant to fight, to survive for the people we loved. The world we live in. This time, fate was on our side. "Yes, though I do not know if there are enough rooms for all of us."

My grin returned, waving off her worries. "So, I might have forgotten to tell you. But a certain sun God gifted me a wedding present and it is where we will be holding the ceremony. There are plenty of rooms there until tomorrow."

Surprise flickered in her golden eyes and my father's mouth opened in shock. "What do you mean by a sun god, Sor?" he asked lightly.

"She means Helios," Erebus interrupted. I turned to face him within seconds, his eyes dark with a sort of jealousy. Because he could never have a relationship with his family as I do with mine. Never. His arms were crossed over his chest, impatiently waiting for us to get on with our pleasantries so we could set out to find Aether. "As a wedding gift, Helios gifted Lianna a temple only for her to enter. Though, she graciously let me enter her place of worship. And all of you, of course."
