A couple of months passed by as I started integrating my body with mana, the process was slow But showed progress, at first 2-3 spells would knock me out but now, now I could do 5 spells with little fatigue, it was definitely the right decision, who knows when my body would have gained the strength to support it. During the last month I was caught doing a fire spell by dad, instead of scolding me he gave me pointers, and told "Your disappearances are getting suspicious mom is starting to catch on be more careful Art".
I was planning on telling mom and dad about the situation this month on my birthday but looks like my dad already knew. I had divided my day efficiently, in morning I wake up and warm up my body and do a little sparring in the front yard, after breakfast I read about mana, mages and the world, and then until and after dinner I would do the integration process I had developed.
Apparently, there were two types of mages augmenters and conjurers, I remember Adam calling me and dad an augmenter, augmenters can coat their body with mana and elemental mana, at later stages above solid yellow they can slowly start shooting spells, this progressed with each core stage and greatly in silver stage, at white core the term augmenter and conjurer is almost meaningless. I know I am an augmenter but how did I shoot mana out that day at the campfire, it seemed impossible but I thought maybe it was a fluke or misinterpreted the situation.
The last and most amazing thing I discovered was I was a tri elemental mage, with fire, water and wind, apparently everyone could use an element in later stages but the efficiency differed greatly and hence wasn't a sensible move to waste time practicing and their core and body could take years or decade to just bring another element to the level of an average user of the said element.
I couldn't use earth efficiently but I knew with a little practice I will absolutely be able to. i could be the first mage mage with all the four basic elements in my arsenal.
I hadn't told mom and dad about this and wasn't planning to anytime soon, any more surprises and they may just loose it. One of the sad things I discovered was while integrating my body with mana I couldn't purify my core so I had very little time as integration a lengthy process, but it was worth it, in time I could be stronger than anyone physically who is on my core level and age.
About the world I discovered that there not only humans but elves and dwarves too, and they all weren't exactly golf buddies, there was a huge war about two and half decades ago, which resulted in a stalemate and a peace treaty, the elven prince was described as a monster, a beast, unstoppable due to his martial arts, I certainly needed to look into him later.
Doctor Trisk was an elf, she took quite the risk travelling so up in the human kingdom, i also read that the elf's awaken 2-3 years before an average human although they have limitations, they cant use fire magic, and dwarves can't use wind and water whereas us human had an affinity to all of them, boy am I lucky.
I knew that this integration process could take years so I decided to accumulate as much information I can and every now and then practice some spells to progress. Even after integration I would be far ahead than any mage in terms of potential.
4 years later
"Woah go easy we aren't in a real life battle" my dad stated.
"What is this too much, I thought you were supposed to be strong" I smirked.
My dad smiled and came at me with, what could only be described as a fire dragon, it totally exhausted him as he had to cancel it at the last second but I had already dodged it, if I were to be hit by that spell... well let's not open that door. I have progressed to the latter stages of light red my dad is only one stage ahead, although I am pretty sure I can fight with him toe to toe hell even defeat him if I used that..
