Bat like creatures came from my blind spots, so many of them, I slashed through them with dawns ballad like they slashing through silk, but there were so many were coming out of the dark fissures it was getting hard to keep up, I infused more mana in my body and sword, using the flowing fist to go faster, faster than they could come out, I could easily kill all of them if I wanted to with a few spells, but I wanted to better my close combat skills, I had been too reliant on mana since i came to this world.

 I had progressed tremendously in the inferno fist, same with the flowing fist only a little behind, but the gap was getting shorter and shorter, this dungeon seemed to be endless, so many small weak beasts, others probably thought I don't have an elemental affinity, but they all were still surprised at my sword skills, I got bored of cutting through endlessly, so when no one was looking I conjured a few wind spells to instantly clear the area around me, as I put Dawns ballad back in its scabbard I noticed a young mage, around my age,i notice that he had exceptional control over earth magic, maybe even better than mine, that meant he wasn't ordinary, there was another, though I didn't like this one, he was undeniably strong and had potential, Lucas Wykes, Fire affinity, conjurer, he was strong and paired with a huge mana pool he was almost too good to be true, it was his personality which was on the down low, I hadn't talked to him yet but I had seen him bullying other small or new mages, I once saw him almost kill a strong mana beast only because it was a bond of someone he didn't like and probably because he didn't have a bond.

I hadn't stopped him as it wasn't my business to interfere in, and I didn't necessarily like the attention it would have drawn, as I myself am not sure as to how strong I am, I have reached the light orange stage a while back, my control over mana has increased a lot, I can perform ice magic better than before but not as good as I'd like, my lightning and fire magic were the best out of all respectively, I didn't progress much in earth and wind, but they were pretty strong compared to others in the yellow core stage.

I could now hold the Realmheart state for a little longer, I had also discovered what kind of power or knowledge, I didn't know what it was that Sylvia had left me, it was similar to her ability to what seemed like to stop time, but only a lot weaker and of a shorter span, I didn't use that technique much as it drained me a lot, not only my ability to hold the Realmheart state had gotten better but the boosts in that state were much greater than before, my body which was already very unusually strong due to the integration, became much more stronger in the Realmheart state, I doubt even a light yellow augmenter would be as strong as me, the integration process really had really paid off.

Gramps wasn't in this raid with me, it had been a few weeks since I decided to go out on my own or sometimes with teammates, I didn't want to grow too reliant on Virion, besides there was a lot of work piling up at the castle for Virion.

Tess had already been attending Xyrus academy, I would go there in a few months too, she would be my senior, it had been over a year since we had last met, I heard she was also around the light orange stage, I was proud of her, she had worked really hard, I was eager to see just how strong she has gotten.

"Let's rest for a while there were a lot of un-dead bats" the group leader Brald said. He was in his mid 30s, an AA class adventurer, he was quite strong, and had a great armor and sword, he had at least a decade worth of experience in the dungeons, hence I decided to trust him.

After traveling ahead for a while everyone sat down and removed food and water from their dimensional rings, I did too as I sat beside the earth conjurer. My appetite these days wasn't very much it maybe because I was having a lot of nutritious meals,... as I started eating my roll which I had made on my own, it was called a shwarma on my earth, I noticed that the earth conjurer didn't have anything to eat, i broke my shwarma in half and handed it to him.
