Alice Leywin's P.O.V.

I was proud of me and my husband to be able to throw such a great party for our son, which he very well deserved, in the past years he has worked harder than anyone I have ever seen, I don't know where he gets the determination from, he was only one stage behind his father , if that wasn't a marvelous accomplishment I don't know what is.

"Alice how bout we open up another barrel, its barely midnight and everyone needs to have some more fun before the next dungeon dive" Adam asked.

"uhh.."

"Ow..OW!" Adam shrieked.

"I am sorry Alice he always gets like this when he drinks" Helen said while pinching Adam's ear.

"You don't have to apologise I know the risk I had taken by inviting a light weight" I laughed lightly.

"Hey I am not a light weight I just allow myself to enjoy the drinks more openly"

"Sure Adam now can you go somewhere else and blabber" Trisk interrupted.

She came with Arthur, Reynolds and both had serious faces, I got worried as to what they wanted to talk about.

"Alice, your son has something to discuss with you, and before you turn him down listen to him till the end and do reason as to how you react then, rationally"

Arthur Leywin's P.O.V.

Doctor Trisk did exactly as I asked, both my mom and dad stood their confused, mom a little worried.

"I wanted your and dad's blessing to train under a renowned warrior away from home for 2-3 years" I stated.

Mom and Dad were both shocked by the very forward statement, se i had a straight face while saying it mom got even more worried.

"Why cant you train here with dad?" My mom asked confused.

"I mean no offense or in a boasting way, but I will soon be able to surpass dad and he won't have much to teach and that would limit my progress for a while" I lied knowing very well i have surpassed him.

"I know what you are saying Arthur but you can't disrespect your dad like dad he was one of the strongest members of the Twin horns" she said

"Honey, he is not wrong, whenever we are sparring I can tell how much he has progressed, sometimes I don't believe it that a person can progress so much in so little time, and I always feel he is still holding back, if I didn't know any better he maybe as strong as me already" he confessed. Mom was shocked at his words.

"I would also like to confess something..." I took a deep breath and went on " I actually have control over more elements than fire..."

Suddenly the whole room went silent all looking at me confused, I think they are more shocked than normal because I said elements, plural, nobody here had access to 3 elements, even counting deviants.

"Wait you didn't tell me this" Trisk said confused.

I went on to produce a small fire in my hand which I slowly converted to lightning as mana poured out from my core, then I dismissed the spell.

I know I had to show at least one more element and I had decided to go with water as it would make reason to go to the elf kingdom for the flowing fist training. But I though if I keep telling the truth in parts my parents wont believe me at a point and this could cause problems in the family, if i show all my elements now they would not suspect anything further and we can start with a new trust bond.
