To the blind man who's mind is unswayed,
You see the world better than those disarrayed.
Rid yourself of the clouds of verity
And digest a lesson that some
Gain from the coming maxim:
To distract oneself with factuality,
Is to disregard oneself of originality.
To see, to hear,
To touch, to feel
To taste is all common.
Though the sixth trait;
Is one oft forgotten.
It's what drives an artist
To conduct his brush.
With a mind's rush
And a canvas to harvest;
By a God's design
The man has made a scene
Ever so divine.
Fantasy-
I pray, do not censor me-
Is that which cannot be taken,
For if this mind of mine be forsaken
Then the Pale Horseman has me taken.
