The alpha whose name is Sojun has done nothing for the last hour but brag about his life in Japan and his business for the last one hour

Taehyung is so irritated he just wants to leave this table and never turn back.

And he really doesn't like the way this man keeps glancing at him.

How can his grandmother even think about allowing this man to mate anyone of them. Taehyung has no words.

Taehyung search for any kind of excitement on his father's face. Nothing.

"I'm sure your omega will have such a good life you sound so generous" His grandmother mused as if her comment wasn't as transparent as every of her action today.

One of the Alpha's sister hums swallowing the food in her mouth. "Any one mated to my brother is guaranteed a good, safe and secured life"

"My son is the inlaw every family will wish for" His grandmother smiles at his friend nodding to her comment.

Taehyung really thinks all these are pointless, to him though.

He tunes out all their talk which seems to be too tiring for his liking.

His father joins in the conversation about the man's business here and there.

His step mother didn't utter a word, it's pretty clear she's not in support of whatever their visitors came here to do today.

Except well maybe if Taehyung will be the one the Alpha chooses. Taehyung is sure his step mother will personally prepare his mating ceremony anything to get rid of him.

They spend another hour talking about the alpha's riches. How he has two cars, a big house and a massive shop and a warehouse where he imports and store foreign building materials.

The more their lunch draws near to being over the more his heart drops with nerve

And Taehyung just can't stop thinking about Jungkook even right now. Something inside of him tingles and Taehyung is reminded of tomorrow. His wolf is getting more active inside his head and Taehyung feels half his thoughts about Jungkook is from his wolf especially today.

Is it possible for his wolf to already accept Jungkook?

That's just ridiculous. His wolf needs to feel and accept Jungkook's wolf first before the human side

Maybe his wolf feels this connection too and has already seen the alpha as his true mate? Maybe because Jungkook is the only Alpha Taehyung has ever allowed himself get close to.
The only alpha he has ever laid down his guard for.

"This was wonderful thank you" The visitors greet and thank his grandmother for the food.

She smiles ushering them to stand up and head to the living room.

To the important part of the day.

Immediately they all settled in the living room. His grandmother's friend starts talking addressing his father

"We are grateful you welcomed us into your house."

His father smiles adding. "You're always welcome"

The visitors chorus out a "Thank you"

"I'm sure we are all aware of why we are here today" The elderly woman starts eyes glancing at every one of them.

Taehyung's nerve is about going out his throat. He's going to throw up. The urge to start bouncing his legs is strong. Taehyung digs his fingers into his knees very much aware of his grandmother's observing eyes.

"I met my friend here sometime ago and well I told her about my son" she motion to the man that Taehyung has done nothing but avoid looking at. "I told her about the unfortunate circumstances that happened and how he wants to start over again here"

She paused smiling at her friend. His grandmother smiles back wide.

"My friend here told me of his beautiful grandchildren that are all ready to mate. We met again a few times and decided to send pictures so my son can choose one of you to date first offcourse" she laughs. His grandmother joins her.

"Then the mating comes next and well today was chosen because choosing your pictures won't be enough, he needs to know a little bit of your scent before the official dates and the mating preparation starts"

Taehyung has never seen his half siblings so quiet and nervous. This is so serious and Taehyung is going to throw up.

"My brother is a one of a kind. Whoever he'll decide to mate will be the luckiest omega on earth. It should be considered a privilege to be honest"

Taehyung stare at the woman talking.  she has so much arrogance written all over her, she is not even trying to hide it

"Like I said before welcome" His father starts with a small smile.  "I'm sure being here today means you've already chosen one of my child and I'm also sure you've confirm your choice after seeing them and getting a glimpse of their scent"

The man nods with a firm "Yes"

"That's wonderful" his father says then pause to stare at the man and Taehyung sees the change in his father's eyes. "I also want to make it clear that before anything will continue after today it has to be with their full consent"

The temperature in the room drops.

The visiting alpha sharply turn to his grandmother that was looking at his son shocked written all over her.

What exactly did his grandmother tell these people. Did they really want to mate without their consent. Was it going to be by force?

Taehyung takes in a sharp and calming breath at his father's statement. He feels his half siblings relax a bit.

Not for long though

"Whoever Sojun chooses as his mate will be his mate" His grandmother challenges, glaring at his son.

Taehyung watch as his grandmother and father glare at each other and Taehyung already knows who will win.

His grandmother offcourse.

She laughs turning back to Sojun. "Who is your choice Sojun, it's time to tell us who your mate will be"

Taehyung can hear his own heartbeat right in his ears.
