Chapter 6: True Evil

Tanjiro and Nezuko face their first mission as official demon slayers fighting a swamp demon and its clones. The three horned clone attempts to attack Nezuko, but is met with an axe kick causing him to retreat to his swamp dimension. 

"Nezuko, don't chase them too far! Stay close so that we can protect each other!" Tanjiro shouted. 

Nezuko ran back to Tanjiro leaping over one of the swamp demons attempting to ambush her. "So, these three demons are the reasons that young girls are disappearing?" she asks.

"Yes. It appears that they use their ability to grab their victims without being seen."

Suddenly, the ground where Tanjiro was standing started to feel damp. The portal appeared under him bringing him into the domain.

"Tanjiro!"

"Nezuko. I'm getting pulled under! Protect those two with your life!"

Then Tanjiro and the swampy portal was gone, and the real swamp demon appeared. "Well little lady, I hope you can give me a really good fight unlike my victims." The demon licked his lips and Nezuko got into a defensive stance.

Meanwhile, Tanjiro was inside the swamp domain surrounded by female clothes. 'Are these clothes and accessories of the kidnapped girls? It went so far to killed people by suffocating them in this water! It's unforgivable!!'

Soon, the two clones arrived in the domain. "Hehehe. Do you feel it brat?" one of clones said. "There is nearly no air in this swamp. and also, you're being trapped by the darkness of the swamp! It feels heavy huh?!"

"You won't be able to move freely like above ground." the second clone said. "It is indeed deserved. How stupid of you falling into this place."

the demons bounce around the swamp making it even more impossible for Tanjiro to hit his enemies. He then twists his body and then sees the opening thread. Using his knowledge, he uses a circular attack.

Beneficent Radiance

Tanjiro unleashes a spiraling upward attack destroying the two clones and escaping the domain.

Back on the surface, Nezuko continues fighting the two horned swamp demon. The demon was having trouble keeping up with Nezuko's strength and speed. But in her barrage of attacks, she was slashed on her forehead making her lose balance. the swamp demon sees the chance to go for the kill. "I'm going to savior every bite when I eat you!!" But as he goes to grab Nezuko, his arms were sliced off by Tanjiro who escaped the swamp.

"Get away from my sister!" he yelled.

The demon was shocked. 'Were they killed by this guy? Who exactly is this man?'

"You have a stench that reeks of pure evil!" Tanjiro said. "How many people did you kill all together?!"

"The ones killed were all women!" the demon shouted. "If they continued living, they would only become uglier and nastier both personality and physically! That's why we ate them!! So, you should be thanking us..."

the demon soon felt a slash go through his mouth leaving its jaw hanging and then looks up to see an angry look from Tanjiro.

"That's enough out of you." He then points his sword towards him. "Now can you tell me any information you know about Muzan Kibursuji?"

The demon froze in shock hearing that name. He then remembers a pact that was made at chokepoint. 'You cannot tell anyone anything about me. If you speak to someone, I will kill you. Remember, I'm always watching you.'
