As everyone recuses her victims, Tanjiro continues to fight off Daki and her obi attacks. "I'd admire your spirit to fight for others, but an ugly piece of trash like you, needs to learn their place in the world!" Daki launches her obis at Tanjiro who defends himself, unaware that she lunges herself at him striking her claws at him. As they continue to clash, the slashed sentient obi from the cavern lair fly towards Daki merging into her body. She absorbs them into her body, causing Tanjiro to attack her while she is distracted. Daki than suddenly disappeared onto the roof.

"Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha! So, there are more demon slayers here and at Hashira level too! Lord Muzan, I will make you proud tonight!" Daki began surging with power returning to her true power. Her hair also turns bleach while with green at the end.

'Her power grew completely! That smell's so horrible! It's burning my entire throat! I wonder if Zenitsu, Inosuke, and everyone else are alright. Nezuko should be getting back soon so, I should keep on-'

"Will you guys shut the hell up?!" Tanjiro was snapped out of his thoughts and looked behind him to see people hearing the fight. 'Dammit! There are bystanders out here!'

"People here are trying to sleep! So, don't fight in front of our homes!"

"Stop! Don't take another step closer!"

"I should report you both to the authorities!"

"You need to shut your mouth and die." Daki said coldly.

Shredding Obi Slash

Daki unleashes her obis slashing the ground and buildings. Tanjiro is caught in the attack and gets cut through his shoulder, while the man loses his hand. The buildings begin to crumble slaughtering many people. Panic begins to ensue. People get frightened seeing mauled people's corpses. Some in shock and disbelief that their loved ones died. Feeling satisfied, Daki walks away "Pathetic. I'm going spend some of this real strength."

"Stop!" Tanjiro shouts. "You will not walk away from this!"

"What? Will you not take the hint ugly? people with hideous faces have no value in my world. Just die alongside all of those freaks." She continues to walk away from her carnage.

"Hiro! Hiro! Someone, help my love! He's not moving!"

"Just stay inside for your lives!"

Hearing Daki's insults struck a nerve in Tanjiro as his eyes begin to bleed from bloodshot. As anger boil through him, her remembers reading a letter from Shinjuro, Kyojuro's father.

(Flashback)

Shinjuro after slowly recovering from his grief, decides to write an apology letter to Tanjiro.

"Tanjiro, I must admit that I've wronged you mistakenly. It's because of you that Kyojuro, my eldest son and successor is alive. I see that you and my sons have been exchanging letters after you became a Hashira. I offer my congratulations in this letter. I'm ashamed of my behavior towards you when we first met.

And as I wallowed myself in self-pity over my own failure, my wife succumbed to and illness to which there was no cure to. So, as the fool and grieving husband I am, I pulled away and drowned myself in sake. I prove to be a disappointment as a Hashira and as a father.

Kyojuro proved a much better Flame Hashira than I ever was. Even after I stopped teaching him, he read the Flame Hashira Chronicles, and even though with there being three volumes, he became my successor, bringing his little brother and another talented person into the demon slayer corps becoming stronger.
