The demon slayers stared at Inosuke in confusion when the strongest Upper Rank Doma was somewhat familiar with him. Even Akaza didn't know what to say to this. "I wonder, did the two of us meet before?"

"I'd remember an asshole like you if I ever met you, which I don't! Now give me my pelt back now, you bastard!" Inosuke shouted.

"Oh no, we have crossed paths. I never forget a face."

"And I'm telling you you're full of shit! You're confusing me!"

'This is very much giving me so many questions.' Tanjiro wondered. 'Out of all the demon slayers in this area, I'm the only one who Doma encountered. But I guess there are personal ties. Me with Kokushibo, Zenitsu with Akaza, and now Inosuke with Doma. But what happened?'

"Don't let get under your skin Hashibira. Calm down." Genya told Inosuke.

"Oh! Hashibira!" Doma realized. "Now that's a familiar name. And surprising too. I see now my hope for staying alive is being serious."

"What are you going on about Doma?" Akaza questioned.

"Well Lord Akaza, I happen to have a good memory. So, I remember the last time when I felt truly human." At that moment, Doma putting one of his fans between his teeth and jams his finger into his brain.

"Ewwww! Disgusting! What are you doing!?" Inosuke complained.

'Aside from Flesh manipulation, we also can also manipulate through the memories.' Akaza thought. 'We're able to go through them like a means to our past.'

"Hmmm. Where is it? Ahh! There you are! Your eyes were indeed familiar. Last I saw such beauty was Fifteen years ago. Very recent too." He starts to monologue about what happened back then. "Once upon a time, there was once a woman around 17 or 18 years with nothing but her clothes and a tiny baby. She was physically abused by her husband and mother-in-law every single day. Envying the poor women, I invited her to Eternal Paradise Cult. All alone with no parents or siblings to provide her help, it was clear that she had nowhere else that was safe for her or her child. When I first laid eyes on her, her face was swollen to the point where I couldn't recognize what she looked like originally. She was in hell. And with all the beatings she took, she became partially blind. But after I touched it, her wounds were healed. And when I saw her face, I only saw pure beauty. And she somehow stole my heart. You carried her face and somewhat beauty when you were born. But compared to you, she looked softer and more kindhearted. Your mother, correct? The resemblance couldn't be anymore clearer." 

"Shut up!! I have no mother!! The boars were the ones who raised me!! I don't know why this has anything to do with me!"

"So, wait. You're saying a boar gave birth to you? Don't be ridiculous. You are a full-fledged human being, so a human should've given birth to you."

"Shut your damn mouth, ass-face!!" Inosuke then rushed in at Doma getting annoyed. "And give me back my pelt now!!"

Beast Breathing, 6th Fang:

"Shhh. Don't interrupt the story. Surly you must understand, this is an encounter of fate." Then in an instant, Inosuke was slashed at with an X across his chest. Kanao rushes in to help Inosuke only for both of them to be knocked into a destroyed building.

"Are you okay, Inosuke? Just stay calm."

"Anyways, back to your mom. I really didn't have any intention of devouring her. It does feel good having a special someone around you for your whole life. It was a shame she wasn't smart, however. But her singing was like a goddess. Carrying you around, she would sing that lullaby about a pinky promise. It was the one thing she sang to you."
